I’m Counting on It

Who is like our God…

Blessed are you, Lord our God, ruler of the universe, who sanctified us with commandments and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.

After the terrifying scene at Sinai, the people and Moses, trembled and exceedingly feared. After the horrific scene of Christ’s crucifixion and death, the disciples trembled and feared.

God in His infinite wisdom, knowing His creation and the flawed human psyche after the fall, commands us to look forward and count the days…

Commanding them (and us) to look forward. Why? We often see an ending, God, says it’s the beginning.
Reminded, all things work together for good, Romans 8:28.

Jesus Christ, Son of man, to relate too and correct our limited finite thinking, Son of God to (re)prove, provide and point us to our calling, purposes and ability in Him through His Power and Word .

Romans 8:28 Amplified Bible
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

Counting the Omer. A kairos time. A window of time, God commands us not to miss what He has planned.

Excerpt from my poem, “Tarry”

When the day had fully come
They gathered as they prayed
How do you prepare
Not understanding the way

Likened to a sound
Of a might rushing wind
Into their midst did come
Long awaited Helper friend

A fire burning deep within
Like flames that set atop
Speaking through their mouths
Words flowed they couldn’t stop

So powerful and hot
To others they appeared drunk
They didn’t have a clue
“The world system would be debunked”

The time is nigh
We have been empowered
Unite and Stand
Church this is your hour

Today is 23 days, which is three weeks and two days of the Omer.

In the photo below you can see tares among the wheat. The wheat bows with ripening of the fruit, the tares stand tall and proud in themselves, but fruitless and bare.

I sense harvest in my bones, I’m
Counting on it.

It is worth waiting for,
Blessings laurette
