Waiting for you

A new season to thrive

Yesterday was an especially beautiful day in North Texas. Thankful the predicted high winds didn’t materialize. So warm it felt like Spring, but a little early morning crispness as a stark reminder that winter may not be over. I was overwhelmed with that feeling of joy that accompanies the Spring season, a testament to nature’s resilience and a reminder to us.

I glanced at the pot holding these new blooms remembering that a few short weeks ago it was buried under several inches of ice. I saw determination. How can something so delicate survive and thrive in the face of adversity?

It was simply waiting for the snow (ice) to melt and then with the warmth of the sun to be reborn…

a powerful reminder of the new beginnings salvation brings

Waiting to survive

Expel the doubts
Let new visions unfold
Up from the depths
Treasures to behold

“A time to awaken,
a new season to thrive”

The earth shall rejoice
With abundant blooms
Watch life be reborn
From winter’s cold tomb

“What once seemed lost,
Just waiting to survive”

Hidden strengths
Bursting forth anew
What you feared dead
Now waiting for you

Now waiting for you…

Blessings, laurette

““For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there,
But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thanks for listening with me. laurette
