Kinsman Redeemer

HandofJesus2

Thrown at Your feet

ashamed for my sin,

falling to the floor

Humiliated again.

To my knees

not opening my eyes,

Afraid of the outcome

God help me; my heart cries!

Extended hand

Toward me You reach,

Mercy’s persistence

I cannot speak.

What do I dare say?

Hesitant to look,

softly beneath my chin

my face Your hand took

Wanting to look

alone and afraid,

ever so gently

covered by shade.

Taking my hand,

gentle nudge,

summoned upward

tender love.

Suns harsh glare,

softened and soothed.

Your shadow protecting,

as gently You move.

Positioned You stand

between me and the accuser,

drenched in my own tears

gracefully You maneuver.

Drawing me near,

my face lowered in shame,

Lifted upward,

I whisper Who are You and What is Your Name?

I Am Jesus of Nazareth!

Your Redeemer and Friend!

Of him you will never

be used again.

Sin is not for you

I’ve come to set you apart,

Follow Me;

New life starts.

Obey My words,

Follow My commands!

There you will find joy,

At My Right Hand!

Hand in hand

Together we’ll go

I will lead

others will know!

Do you see Jesus? I took this picture in 2017 at sunset. You can see an angel and the face of Jesus if you look closely. He is looking to the East or to the right.

Life with me

Perfect design

No longer alone

Or by sin defined.

Wholeheartedly one

I AM Redeemer of your soul,

others will longingly desire

COVERING OF LOVE TO KNOW!

Psalm 103:2-4 New Living Translation (NLT) Holy Bible

Let all that I am praise the Lord;     may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins     and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death  and crowns me with love and tender mercies

I wrote this poem last week but this morning when I awoke I had the song Resurrection Power, by Chris Tomlin playing in my heart. I thought about the lyrics as I sang this song. He calls us out of the grave by name, and out of all our shame. The new has come. Your name is engraved in the Palm of the hand that is reaching for you. Grab it and never let go. He found us in sin, so therefore our Lord Jesus Christ isn’t holding our sin against us. He is redeeming us from sin and the effects of our sin.

Today if you are struggling in an area of sin that seems to hold you down, I pray that sin no longer has power over you. I pray you cry out, Lord Jesus help me. If you need a reminder that you are made new go listen to this song.  God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and give you (peace) Shalom. Nothing missing nothing broken peace. Thank you for listening with me.
