Sin Searing Revival

Early one morning, while praying, I heard what I thought was, “you need a sincere revival.” Before I could agree to a sincere revival, I heard The Spirit so clearly say, a resounding No! Then He said, “you (the United States) need a sin searing revival!” I say Yes Lord! Yes Lord, yes we do. Amen

We need a sin searing revival

To sweep across our land,

A revival that will pierce the hearts

causing brothers and sisters to band.

“Sin searing revival”

Come forth now and do not stop,

Until our enemies be destroyed

From the bottom to the top!

Out with all this evil unbelief,

The fighting and the stench,

It’s time to get real church,

The enemy of mankind to lynch.

I’m calling for a sin searing revival

To sweep across our land,

Will you join with me?

As we unite in prayer and stand.

Together in prayer we’ll praise,

And thank our Father God,

That He not only hears our prayer

But listens and He nods.

Saying to His counsel,

Do you hear My people’s prayer?

Answers coming swiftly

Like Fire, from The Masters Chair.

Jesus, our High Priest,

Listens as we pray,

So we shall not be silent,

Offering heaven words to obey.

Pray and praise and call again,

He is signing prayer requests.

God is hearkening to our words

To free all who are oppressed.

Heaven moves when we pray,

Our words have power and meaning.

We cannot sit and wonder,

Which direction God is leaning.

Jesus did say when we pray, believe,

And ask without reserve.

Because when we pray

We know that He has heard.

When heaven hears we know we have

our petitions as we await the arrival,

Because heaven is calling out to us,

Now church, is time to usher in a “sin searing revival!”

Hosea 14:2 NLT

Bring your confessions, and return to the LORD. Say to him, “Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.

Good morning. I pray God Bless you and keep you, and make His face shine upon you, and give you Shalom. Shalom peace, nothing missing, nothing broken peace.

Thank you for listening with me-Laurette

I Am The Gate

I Am The Gate

by which all will enter,

Upon Me, seek

that your life does center.

No one will ever

pluck you out of My hand.

I Am The Light

of all creation,

I Am The Rock

Have I not promised

did I not say

John 10:9, 28-29 NIV

“I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.”

Safe and secure from all alarms. Today my prayer is we be found leaning on The Everlasting Arms.

God Bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and give you Shalom!

Shalom the peace of God that means nothing missing, and nothing broken.

Blessings over your day. Thank you for listening with me-Laurette

From Bud to Blossoms

Keep to the faith

And never give up,

You can go from a berry,

To a plentiful cup!

From bud to blossom,

Did you witness the change?

In the heat of day,

Structure rearranged.

 OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

From bud to bloom

To show the way

Never doubt;

Look what happened in just one day

 OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Closed off and guarded

When suddenly appears,

Soft petals and color

Bursting with zeal.

Soft and tender,

How do you grow?

From morning to night,

I didn’t know.

Changes were happening

All around,

From bud to blossom

Now Flowers abound.

Keep to the faith

And never give up,

You can go from a berry

To a plentiful cup!

 OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Of fragrant petals,

soft pleasant texture,

While no one is looking

Not mere conjecture.

God’s perfect design.

First patented then sealed,

He created it all

With beauty He filled.

So much to learn

So much to achieve,

From a bud to blossom

Only believe.

Isaiah 35:2

the desert will bloom with flowers, it will be very glad and shout for joy.

Everyone will see the glory of the Lord.  They will see the beauty of our God.

Isaiah 55:10-11

Just as the rain and the snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom,

so will the words that come out of mouth not come back empty-handed.

Kinsman Redeemer

HandofJesus2

Thrown at Your feet

ashamed for my sin,

falling to the floor

Humiliated again.

To my knees

not opening my eyes,

Afraid of the outcome

God help me; my heart cries!

Extended hand

Toward me You reach,

Mercy’s persistence

I cannot speak.

What do I dare say?

Hesitant to look,

softly beneath my chin

my face Your hand took

Wanting to look

alone and afraid,

ever so gently

covered by shade.

Taking my hand,

gentle nudge,

summoned upward

tender love.

Suns harsh glare,

softened and soothed.

Your shadow protecting,

as gently You move.

Positioned You stand

between me and the accuser,

drenched in my own tears

gracefully You maneuver.

Drawing me near,

my face lowered in shame,

Lifted upward,

I whisper Who are You and What is Your Name?

I Am Jesus of Nazareth!

Your Redeemer and Friend!

Of him you will never

be used again.

Sin is not for you

I’ve come to set you apart,

Follow Me;

New life starts.

1524869728216

Obey My words,

Follow My commands!

There you will find joy,

At My Right Hand!

Hand in hand

Together we’ll go

I will lead

others will know!

Do you see Jesus? I took this picture in 2017 at sunset. You can see an angel and the face of Jesus if you look closely. He is looking to the East or to the right.

Life with me

Perfect design

No longer alone

Or by sin defined.

Wholeheartedly one

I AM Redeemer of your soul,

others will longingly desire

COVERING OF LOVE TO KNOW!

Psalm 103:2-4 New Living Translation (NLT) Holy Bible

Let all that I am praise the Lord;     may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins     and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death  and crowns me with love and tender mercies

I wrote this poem last week but this morning when I awoke I had the song Resurrection Power, by Chris Tomlin playing in my heart. I thought about the lyrics as I sang this song. He calls us out of the grave by name, and out of all our shame. The new has come. Your name is engraved in the Palm of the hand that is reaching for you. Grab it and never let go. He found us in sin, so therefore our Lord Jesus Christ isn’t holding our sin against us. He is redeeming us from sin and the effects of our sin.

Today if you are struggling in an area of sin that seems to hold you down, I pray that sin no longer has power over you. I pray you cry out, Lord Jesus help me. If you need a reminder that you are made new go listen to this song.  God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and give you (peace) Shalom. Nothing missing nothing broken peace. Thank you for listening with me.

I’ve Been Given a Key

It is God’s privilege to conceal a matter and the king’s privilege to search it out.

I’ve been given a key

unsure as to what,

have you ever wondered

about a gift you got?

1528987558574

Is this simply a clue?

Does it have a specific purpose?

Why has this been given to me,

could it unlock a surplus?

1528986883350

What exactly is a key?

What is the history?

What am I to do with these?

Unlock hidden mysteries.

1528986813154

Is this a revelation?

A devise to help open,

Does it open a door?

Why am I still groping?

In dire need of wisdom,

I must make a decision.

Searching to know and understand,

the purpose to such provision.

1528986961225

Is it to turn a metal bar?

This mystery given to me.

How can I find this out,

open God’s great treasury?

1528986684268

I’ve been given a gift

I’ve been given keys,

I am beginning to understand,

this language spoken to me.

The Lord longs for us to know,

He wants us to understand,

that indeed He is speaking,

waiting for us to comprehend.

A key is often called a clue.

The lock,  simply to intrigue,

opening to the next level;

We are entering into a new league.

img_5579

The mysteries are questions.

I wonder where to start?

But then I know the answer,

it is the key to His heart.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Love is the door,

praise is the key,

may we ne’er forget

enter with thanksgiving.

For this is the day

The Lord did make,

let us  rejoice and be glad

for heaven’s sake.

Psalm 100:4

Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name.

Matthew 16:19 CEV

I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and God in heaven with allow whatever you allow on earth. But He will not allow anything you don’t allow.

I pray we are surrounded with the mysteries of The Lord Jesus Christ and His love that has been poured out for us. I pray today that everywhere we look, we catch a glimpse of His devotion and beauty. Most of all I pray we sense His love in a deeper more intimate way. He is intriguing us with these mysteries. Let’s go search them out.

I AM looking for a Partner

Isn’t it time to get off the fence?

I hear The Lord saying, it is time to get off the fence.

The fence may seem like a safe place. People may be happy, extremely happy that you are on the fence. You know, don’t rock the boat, right? The fence can seem like a safe place, maybe even offer a nice view. And what does it matter, just keep everyone happy.

We however are made to stand, on one side or the other. We are not created to be fence straddlers.

In a world where we are hearing that it is better to move boundary lines than to offend someone, change truth (as if that is even possible), accept the lies and just go along to get along, we are seeing more and more instability. What we are witnessing is an ever increasing shaking. The word of God will stand forever, and for that I am thankful.

In a world that is attempting to trade the truth for a lie, God offers you and I real hope.

I want to encourage you, if you have not partnered with The LORD and His beloved Son Jesus Christ, I pray today you will make the life changing, soul stabilizing decision to get off the fence and serve Him, and Him only. Eternity is forever…….

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrew 13:8

I Am looking for a partner

I Am searching out agreement,

I Am looking for the ones

Not given to appeasement.

I Am looking for a partner,

I Am seeking with My eyes,

For the ones who will boldly

declare with sudden apprise.

I Am looking for a partner,

I Am searching high and low,

Will you be dressed and ready,

When the trumpet blows?

Have you told the ones

Nearest and dearest to you?

Have you shared the truth,

with those right in front of you?

I Am looking for a partner,

A ship that needs no sail,

A partner who will launch

Into the deep without fail.

Has nothing to do with water

All to do with My love,

I Am looking for a partner,

Hear My call from above.

Will you become My partner?

Will you seek my face?

Will your share Christ Jesus?

Without shame or disgrace.

You call in times of trouble,

Asking that I come to your rescue,

I’m calling now in unison

Calling out to each of you.

Are you willing and ready,

To become a covenant one?

A keeper of what I hold dear,

To witness of My Son?

Tarry here and ask Me

For My Spirit, precious gift,

The promise I poured out to sustain,

Holding you steady, no longer to drift.

Ephesians 4:14 NLT

Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

I pray God’s abundant blessings and goodness over you and yours today-

Thank you for listening with me-Laurette

Can You Feel a Heart Break

Jesus said, The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,

Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at Liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.

From HOPE is alive Series

Can you feel a heart break?

Have you heard the sound?

Did you feel the tremors?

Pieces crumbling all around.

Have you felt a heart break,

Are there ways to recognize?

Feelings hidden safely away,

Kept in check, ignored, disguised.

Do you know how hearts break,

Do you know the cause?

Can you rescue certain parts,

secure with tape and gauze?

When you see a broken heart,

join with me and pray,

Asking for our Father

To give us the words to say.

Oh Lord, it seems so broken,

Hearts in pieces strewn all around.

I know we are not without HOPE,

Your Love does more abound.

img_6637

To those who hearts are broken,

Hopeless, in need of Your healing balm,

The ones who doubt and wonder……

Cover with Your peace and calm.

I know now why You said,

“The fields are white unto harvest.”

Close to the broken hearted You are,

To cover with Your garments.

I will put my trust in You,

and believe what You have said,

That Your Precious promises

Bring life to things once dead!

img_9849

When it seems there is no hope,

I cry out, dry bones come alive!

Hear our prayers Oh Lord,

Over families and cities,

We prophecy, REVIVE!

Poem written by laurette laster © 2018 May

Psalm 46:4-5 ESV

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.

Ezekiel 37:3-5 CEV

He said, “Ezekiel, son of man, can these bones come back to life?” I replied, “ Lord God, only you can answer that.” He then told me to say: Dry bones, listen to what the Lord is saying to you, “I, the Lord God, will put breath in you, and once again you will live.”

Good morning. I pray God’s full and abundant blessings over you and all you do. If you are, or know someone who is in a dark place of feeling hopeless, reach out for help. Please do not allow a hopeless feeling to cause you to make a wrong choice. We are not without hope. We are never without hope. Thank you for listening with me. Laurette

Honest Friends

Colossians 4:6 Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.

I came across this picture earlier of the feet of some of my friends. In one picture we are standing on a rock, and in the other our feet are submerged in water.  We know that The Rock and The Water have great significance in the bible. The Rock we know is Christ, and The Water is the word, and The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. So both are a picture of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Walking in friendship with fellow believers is such a blessing. I am so thankful for my friends. But that doesn’t ensure we won’t have disagreements with each other.  How much more difficult communication can be with those who don’t understand us and don’t believe as we do.

If you struggle with how to communicate or struggle allowing others to share their feelings, I encourage you to learn to communicate honestly, and listen without fear and embrace the opportunity to create lasting friendships and relationships. Expectations without clear communication can cause distance in relationships. Please do not assume someone thinks something. If you haven’t ask them what they think, you may simply be projecting  feelings on to them that you feel. Often the very thing you fear they may also fear. If you are one who doesn’t value others and their input or opinions, I pray you open your heart and realize people have andbring value to any relationship. They may be just what you need or have the skills or gifts that are lacking in your life.

With honesty, dipped in love and covered with grace we can walk together.  Jesus ask this question, “How can two walk together less they agree?”

I ask, how will we know if we can come to an agreement if there isn’t honest open communication?

I pray our walk with The Lord, and our relationships grow in grace and love for the remainder of this year. As we hit the midway mark for 2018 there is still time to nurture those relationships and friendships.

Ephesians 6:15 and being firm-footed in the gospel of peace.

Picture from phone 048

What if we could talk
maybe calmly disagree,
And you felt safe enough
to share anything with me.

No matter what you were thinking
or holding in your heart,
Wouldn’t you agree
this is a very integral start?

For any lasting relationship
must have some solid ground,
Let’s be real and transparent,
and never dance around.

Saying what we mean
and value deep inside,
We would grow and understand
because we didn’t hide.

Any issues we might face
we would always commit
Never to gossip or slander,
Or murder with our lips.

Picture from phone 019
Communication has a place
to be a part of creating,
And when used effectively
Leaves no one abating.

Choose your words carefully,
always think before you speak.
Words are like bullets,
released in anger, the outcome bleak.

The fears or uncertainties
or unwanted idiosyncrasies,
You could openly help me understand
without any secrecy.

We could openly share what
The Lord has placed in our heart,
What a day, what a friendship
we could genuinely start.

We would never have to fear
or worry needlessly,
because basic relationships
Allows and require honesty.

Then our friendship could endure
any test or attack,
Because truth and open transparency
we pledged would never lack.

Decoration Day Solidarity, I Pray

Memorial Day, once known as Decoration Day. A day to remember those who died while fighting for our country.

THANK YOU!  If God be for US-(A) who can be against us?

One February day while I was studying for the bible study, my husband Greg and I, teach I pushed away from the computer and looked out my office door. When I looked out I saw this hawk right above my patriotic rocker and this sign. I definitely thought this was indeed a sign in a sign. I later discovered the hawk is in the eagle family. There are no coincidences.

I repainted this rocker in the summer of 2016. My son built this rocker out of square tubing and it was originally John Deere green and yellow. The rocker was built in 1996, his senior year, for the Ag auction. Of course this mama wanted this rocker and masterpiece. This rocker has moved with me three times and has set on my porch, on my patio and now by our fence. This rocker has weathered storms, the heat and the bitter cold, so the paint had faded and chipped and needed refreshed. I felt impressed to paint this rocker red, white, and blue, “patriotic on purpose” in 2016. I could feel and sense the change that was coming to our Nation. We have been in a refreshing with many changes.  I believed then and still do it is change in the right direction. A returning to our original core values. We are not a perfect Nation, there is none. But we are founded on biblical truths and freedoms that have been fought hard for.

Our Nation has certainly been through changes since the inception of the United States of America. Some changes have been wise and some changes have been otherwise. But I know God is for us. God is for US & A change is being ushered in to our land. Today I am so thankful, and I wanted to share these thoughts.

Bring the Lord back to the front,
Front lines He can maintain,
Decoration Day solidarity, I Pray,
In Jesus Holy Name!

1519677036348

I’m grateful to live in this land,
We call the home of the free.
Can you imagine the toll,
To our Nation and families?

Today folks mock some ridicule,
Some blaspheme and bring shame,
Others deliriously unaware,
Silence is just the same.

Not to defend, to me cowardly,
Not to be grateful, disgraceful.
To act as if so what,
Is certainly outwardly disdainful.

We have our freedom today,
Their lives and bravery past.
So salute our soldiers and officers,
For actions that are unsurpassed.

Following the lead of Christ,
Who gave to give us life,
No greater love can be shown,
Than to lay down ones own life.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Today let us take a moment,
To bow our heads in prayer,
Give thanks for freedoms and the rights,
Lets show how much we care.

Freedoms not easily obtained,
We must continue progressing?
Because they answered when called,
I pray we stop this regressing?

Bring the Lord back to the front,
These lines He will maintain.
Decoration Day solidarity, I Pray,
In Jesus Holy Name!

May My Heart be the Garden

Good Morning.

Today while I was out watering,  I thought about how these flowers bring glory to God. They are doing exactly what they are created and designed to do. Nothing more, nothing less. They bring beauty to our world just by blooming and growing. And they do it season after season. They endure summers hot blasting heat, then the winters bitter cold and then they begin again. They return and multiply each year with the same enthusiasm. I desire to serve our Lord Jesus, with this same enthusiasm as these flowers.

We can certainly learn valuable lessons from flowers. Just by looking at the garden where these flowers grow, and knowing the climate and the soil.

Years ago The Lord really spoke to me about how flowers bloom to the glory of God. He didn’t speak in an audible voice, it was if I heard it in my spirit. I had never thought about flowers blooming to bring God glory. They do it simply by being and doing what they were created to do. God revealed to me if I wanted to bring glory to Him, I should discover and seek Him for what I was designed to do. Then do what I was designed to do with all my heart.

I pray we are growing and blooming to the glory of God and that our heart’s are full of His love. A place He can call home.

Thanks for listening with me.

May my heart be the garden
A place where Your love grows,
Shielded and guarded,
from all life’s throws.

1526507048402

A freshly watered garden,
saturated in Your truth,
Soil so tendered
attentive, never aloof.

1526507240023

A heart so full, yet craving
what is pure and true,
So that in my life
It is Your light shining through.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Make my heart Your garden,
where Your love is enthroned.
My heart Your beautiful garden,
The place You call Your home!

James 1:27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

Proverbs 12:11 He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, But he who pursues worthless things lacks sense.
