“He who sits [enthroned] in the heavens laughs [at their rebellion]; The [Sovereign] Lord scoffs at them [and in supreme contempt He mocks them].”
PSALMS 2:4 AMP
He Laughs
I put away my winter things
Then here you are again
Cold days mid May seem strange
Run the heaters how do we comprehend
Jackets are needed
Long pants today
Spring you sprung
Then went away
We sit back watching You work
In nature and her entirety
In reproof of global warming
You laugh and give them anxiety
Read in Genesis
Made plain is Psalms
The earth is The Lords
Hot and cold winter and warm
If you find yourself guessing
About what the weather is doing
Rely on God’s perfect character
You know our Creator is viewing
Shaking His head at mans ignorance
All this stupidity coming to light
So just maybe for grins and giggles
He is using His preemptive Right!
God sits in the heavens and laughs
Our God is on His throne
We who believe are witnessing
His challenge, go big or simply go home

“O LORD, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and the weak; so help us, O LORD our God, for we trust in and rely on You, and in Your name we have come against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; let not man prevail against You.””
Do you ever find yourself wondering about those who do not know the word of God? How do they reason, what are they thinking, and how do they come up with their findings? But most of all do they truly believe what they say? I heard a few days ago that one of our someone (one of our senators I think) said the earth has only ten years left due to global warming, and the dangers associated with this. We know we have so many other dangers lurking, and global warming simply isn’t in the top ten thousand.
Then just like that in Texas, it was 47 degrees on May 10th. I told Greg, “must be this global warming thing I keep hearing them talk about.” God has a sense of humor and the scripture tells us He laughs at their rebellion.
Heaven and earth may pass away but His word stands forever. It isn’t over until He says its over. I love His promise, While the earth remains seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.
God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you Shalom
Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette
