He Hears-Liquid Faith

He Hears
Psalms‬ ‭126:5-6‬ ‭ESV ”Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”

‭‭

In my heart I have a truth

I know only He can hear

Prayers that speaks loudest

From eyes brimming over with tears

Tears that flow yet not unbelief

From a heart fervent and effective

Waiting is where Gods promises

Are brought into right perspective

For He who promised is faithful

Our God will abundantly pardon

So we are free to seek Him

Come away with Him to the garden

Soon these tears will turn in to praise

Like blooms from a well watered garden

Ready to feel by acknowledging

Tears that soften and never harden

His thoughts toward us only good

This trial has a desired purpose

He that sees, hears my prayers

Liquid faith waters the surface

Gardens must be watered

Nourished with liquid faith

Prayers that speaks the loudest

He hears when steaming down our face

Tears are collected evidence

He understands their sound

Gently falling upon our hearts

Their purpose; to soften and water His precious ground.

Malachi 3:16
At that time, those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened
and heard them. So a scroll of remembrance was written before Him regarding those
who feared The Lord, and honored His name
.
I’m sharing this poem. I couldn’t help but reread it after yesterdays poem that I posted earlier today.
He hears. He is faithful. We shall reap if we faint not. Tears are ex pressed sadness and joy, worry and faith, as we wait.
Faith and gratitude softens our heart as we wait.
But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with
wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.
Until next time, thanks for listening with me. Laurette

Overwhelming Heart Hugs

Honor and majesty are [found] in His presence; strength and joy [found] in His sanctuary. (1 Chronicles 16:27 AMPC)

Overwhelming Heart Hugs

(from the grace series ©)

Thank You Father is whispered
As tears stream down my cheek
His love hugs my heart so tight
Causing my eyes to leak

Captured in His nearness
Overwhelmed with gratitude
I can barely catch my breath
In His love, oh the magnitude

2e6f9e39-d79b-445c-b2ac-0f71c2fe883d

Intelligible words with value
Escape my mind and being
Surrounded by His love
His goodness is all I’m seeing

Sometimes I weep
Or burst out in song
His gentle touch
Heals all wrong

My face to the floor
Familiar touch reminding
His word will not return void
But accomplish all He’s decreed

His goodness is never failing
His love is never ending
Oh my God and my Lord
With You there is no pretending

So real and completely alive
Only good and forever faithful
He is for us, with us, and in us
We cannot help be praiseful

Yes gratitude comes forth
Running down my face
In double streams proportioned
Like His amazing grace

Gratitude pours forth
At the most amazing times
It’s then I am reminded
We are on His mind

My eyes become like faucets
He sets my feet to dancing
Tears of joy flow freely
His perfect love entrancing

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11 NKJV)

Have you ever felt the presence of heaven invading the room? I had a visitation yesterday. As I began to complete a simple but great idea, a task given to me by Him, I was praising The Lord in hymns and psalms. As I was singing verses about His faithfulness I was reminded I had a dream in the night. It was an amazing dream. A sweet dream, showing me, that yes the promises of God are true and He is working on these very situations as I go about His business. Later I began to be overcome with gratitude and tears sprang forth. I was joyous, not sad, I was overcome by His goodness and this poem flowed forth. I share this with you to encourage you to reach out and take hold of all God is doing in your life no matter what season you are in.

Last year I had a poem spring forth about liquid faith. The Lord allowed me to glimpse believer’s tears falling on their chest. These tears come forth during the toughest times and become water or streams of faith, springing forth from emotions so deep and too raw for verbal explanation. As our heads are bowed down, tears fall on our heart and water and soften our heart. So tears are clearly an expression of multiple emotions. The emotions that cannot be articulated are clearly understood in heaven. Tears are said to be stored in bottles of remembrance before Him.

When His presence or an angelic visitation takes place it invades our very atmosphere. I have experienced this in differing places, locations, and venues.

We cannot describe what it is, but we know it is Him. We are surrounded, engulfed, and captured, by this permeating, very tangible, yet invisible presence. It isn’t a feeling it is an experience. An experience so exciting and captivating that causes a variable of emotions to burst forth all at the same time. Not knowing whether to dance, sing, cry, shout, or fall on our face, when suddenly clear liquid burst forth from ducts that were strategically placed by our Creator. I’ve come to realize this is His pure love expressed in liquid form and it is in double portions.

Like oil extracted by being pressed from the olive, love extracted from pressing on our heart must be expressed. However there is a love so powerful that it is [ex] pressed in liquid form.

Yes it is Him. Dropping by to remind us, all is well. He is with us.

I wonder if our eyes were opened to this glory what it would be like. Then I’m reminded His love is all around us, even when we can’t feel Him. He is here.

The next time you are enraptured and tears spring forth, and you don’t understand; it is because He is hugging your heart tightly against His.

The joy is so amazing words cannot articulate. It is experienced, felt, and expressed in the quiet whispers of tears caught and stored in bottles for His remembrance.

He draws our heart holding it close to His and the intimacy causes springs of love and gratitude to burst forth. When words cannot be expressed they are pressed, and come forth as tears.

The hug of our Lord is so amazing it makes our eyes leak.

Just a little side note about the lamp I used in this photo. This lamp was my mother’s lamp. I am reasonably certain it was her mothers before her, my grandmother. There have been many hardships by women in our family lineage. Untold broken hearts caused by generational ignorance. My mother was my only parent, her mother my only grandparent. As I experience His goodness I realize many of the prayers being answered were watered by their liquid faith and gratitude before me. I never want to take one blessing or promise for granted. My fight is for those who have gone before me, and for the ones coming after me. Therefore I must persevere that my God may receive all the glory. May I be numbered with the prudent and have my lamp and my extra vessel of oil.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thanks for listening with me. Laurette

Don’t Keep Christmas in the Closet

It’s Time

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Romans 2:16

Where do Holidays (Holy Days) come from? They are derived from the Feasts of God and the Promises of God.

img_1975

Don’t keep Christmas in the closet

Don’t keep Christmas in the closet
Don’t store it away for months
Keep it out in the open
Let’s decide this now for once

For God does nothing in secret
Though at first we may not understand
But if we continue on in faith
We shall see the work of His hands

It is the most wonderful time
The most celebrated season
But we should take an account
And remember ‘Jesus’ is the reason

So do not put The Lord away
And store Him out of sight
Oh no we must tell of His wondrous works
While it is day and not the night

Yes He was born as a babe
Humbled Himself as a Servant
But that is not all we know
To those who are observant

Yes Christmas was heralded
From Angels melodious chorus
So don’t put Christmas away
Keep our soon coming King before us

Child with menorah

I shall not store Christmas away
And I encourage you each to search
In Luke, Isaiah, then Mathew
Each describes His miraculous birth

Oh but that is not all there is more
In every book you can find
That Christmas was forever
And was foremost on God’s mind

Do not put Christmas away
It is the most wonderful time of the year
Keep it magnificently lighted
And displayed from ear to ear

For The Gift that keeps on giving
We can share in daily amounts
Our Hope is in Jesus at Christmas
Are you ready to give an account

It’s Time

Wednesday, January 1, 2020, today something is stirring in my spirit. I sense The Lord asking, do you know what it means. Our Western traditions, customs, and holidays, are an illustration, mimicking the Fall Feasts or Appointed Times of the Lord, even though others may not be aware of this.
As the Christmas Holidays officially draw to a close, some seem relieved; while others put everything away the day after Christmas.
Our lights are still burning bright in the darkness. I turned on the window candles again tonight, one last time. I will miss the festive decorations but will carry the meaning of Christmas in my heart every day.

Last year (a few short days ago) in 2019 I experienced a prophetic word along with a supernatural illumination from a snow woman I rescued from Goodwill. I will write and blog about that another day. This illumination deserves its own story, not just a few sentences.

Our traditions and Holidays (Holy Days) Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, represent The Fall Feasts of The Lord our God. Yom Teruah or Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur also known as Day of Atonement and Tabernacles, and Hanukkah or Feast of Dedication are Holy times of God. We’ve been honoring and handing down remnants or portions of these Feasts for generations.

As Greg and I were talking, I asked him, if you had to define time what would you say time is, how would you describe time? He sat there for a brief moment then answered, “I don’t know.” It isn’t easily definable or described in one word. How applicable, right?
Time is a noun, a verb, and an adjective and so much more.
Time is a season, a decade, a day, a moment, a year, an eon, an event, a measure, a duration, a date, an occasion, time is passing, can be appointed and time can be missed. The list can go on and on.
We know that the stroke of a clock doesn’t really change anything and neither does a specific day on our Gregorian calendar, yet we need the boundary time marks and sets. God has a calendar and definitely keeps and marks time and events. God established time of light and dark, evening and the morning, making a distinction between day and night at the beginning of creation. And evening and morning were the first day.
We need the measurement and the distinction time offers.
While we read many opinions and warnings about celebrating pagan holidays, I took time today to thank God for the reason we celebrate. In search of Him we observe His set apart time, recognizing He set, kept, and fulfilled, an appointment with mankind, sending His Son Jesus, our promised Messiah. This promised event changed the destiny of mankind. The Gift given to us, poured out for us, at the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins. At His resurrection This Gift would open unto us the offer of complete salvation and meaning, new life, a living hope, redemption, restoration, sanctification, and eternity with Him in the next life while giving us power here and now for the rest of the journey.

What a God, what a glorious event; The Gift that is still being opened.
We have been given a set time, the acceptable day, an appointed time to die and then judgment.

Why would anyone miss the day of salvation?
It is time! Today is the day, now is the acceptable time of God’s favor. If you haven’t already made Jesus Lord of your life, I pray you will stop right now, take time and ask Jesus to be your Savior.
He’s The Real Gift and the meaning of Christmas!

2nd Corinthians 9:15 Thank God for his gift that is too wonderful for words! Indescribable, unspeakable gift that gives us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

Look For The Beauty

Those who do wickedly(violate the covenant) against the covenant he shall corrupt (seduce, deceive, corrupt, and entice, turn to godlessness) with flattery; but the people who know their God (remain faithful, are loyal,) will display strength (firmly resist him) and take action. Daniel 11:32

Look For The Beauty

Look for the beauty
When darkness surrounds
Search for His holiness …
Though evil abounds

“In 2020 Seek His face
Yes like never before
For I know yes I know
There is so much more”

When darkness seems darker
“Hope” is never lost
It is then we must believe, yes believe
Hold on no matter the cost

Jesus is our anchor (Hebrews 6:19)
He indeed is our “Hope”
So darkness must flee
We are not of those who grope

We are led and summoned
Called His very own
Fear not little flock
His kingdom is our home

Search for His holiness

As we usher in this new decade my prayer is we seek God, more than ever before. In a world that tries to make Him common, I pray we esteem His holiness, being filled with His fullness.

In a world attempting to dilute and dumb down, watering down and weakening the truth in His word, so it isn’t too strong, (don’t want any offended), I pray we know our God and do exploits, never watering down the gospel. I pray we grow in wisdom and stature, stretch and reach (higher) to pursue, always looking towards the goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.
May we never be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ,  After all, “It is the power of God unto salvation” that changes people. I pray we put a demand on His power in dark days, as plugged in believers, we shine brighter and brighter, bringing others to His Power and Light. To Him be glory in the church, may all be changed by His great love.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV

Happy New Year
2020 A Decade of Hope
Look for the Beauty

The Gift-The Mark of The Engraver

Good Morning

The Real Gift

We’ve heard catchy sayings and slogans , the gift that keeps on giving. The meaning of the phrase, this isn’t a one time event or happening, but something that has a continual benefit.

Oh the unending, supernatural, Devine benefits from “The Gift” delivered, Immanuel!
Have you shared “The Gift” with others.
Jesus, “The Light” never dimming, does not go out.

Jesus said, “I Am The Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

img_1861

As you read think about this statement. Engraving is a physical mark while etching is a chemical process.

111988e9-f6b5-4706-9a02-36676366c039The Gift-
The Mark of The Engraver

A gift shouldn’t be something
Displayed on a shelf
And a gift isn’t something
That exalts only self

If used and put on exhibit
Pointing hey look at me
That may not be a gift
But idolatry

A real gift should be shared
For the betterment of many
A true gift is found
And never excludes any

We have all received a “Gift”
In the birth of our Savior
How we receive determines
The mark of The Engraver

He writes His law
On our hearts and minds
Oh “The Gift” is obvious
And truly binds

You’re never alone
Or without “The Gift”
The real meaning and purpose
“Jesus” is why Merry CHRISTmas is wished

“the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NIV

Often when writing a poem, a word or stanza stands out speaking to me. Calling to me to come to the deep. I almost hear His voice summoning me. This may seem silly to you, yet I’ve discovered deep yet practical truths pointing to the eternal.

“The mark of The Engraver” called to me after writing this poem. I began researching what an engraver is. One of the first things I read pointed out the difference between and engraver and an etcher. I hadn’t given any thought to the difference prior to this poem. The Mark left by The Engraver is applied by hand, while etching is caused using a chemical. Engraving is a physical mark while etching is caused by a chemical process.

Looking toward the New Year of 2020 I have great expectations. I listened to a teaching yesterday saying 2020 is the year of the hand or the palm. Is 2020 the year of laying on of hands, transferring the gift of faith to other’s, for them to believe on The Lord Jesus Christ and His love to heal. Jesus said, “your faith has made you whole.” Oh to see other’s have the faith to be healed and receive the gifts of deliverance that have been delivered for us. I have great expectations of seeing The Word manifest in the lives of believers. I expect to see unbelievers believing, when we share the Gift of Christ with them.

Engraving is a physical mark left  by the work of the Hand while etching is a chemical process. I had an illumination this morning concerning all the new diagnosis’s and chemicals called medications prescribed. (I am not a medical doctor and I am not stating nor suggesting anyone stop taking their medications, nor am I saying there isn’t cases where medications are required and necessary).  I am believing to see the Mark of The Engraver change lives, open minds by His supernatural physical touch through the laying on of hands. A touch that causes their faith to rise up and believe in the power of Almighty God. A faith that draws to a real and deep work of repentance.

I hear The Lord saying this will not be for public spectacles but will be a holy encounter with The Living God. The transference I see happening will be intimate, tangible, and can even be transferred during intercession prayer. It is however by faith.

Jesus said, “if you can believe all things are possible to him that believes.”

I challenge us all, it is time to believe again.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom!

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

The Gift

Good Morning

He purposed the law securely
Underneath His seat of mercy
Did the design point to us
Will there be some controversy

Ark of the covenant

I pray “The Light” of Christmas burn brighter and brighter in our hearts, in the coming days.
May The Light of our Savior, Jesus, born to deliver us, give unto us wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God’s great love.
May Christ open for us “The Gift”, with new understanding in the meaning of our salvation.
May we function fully in the gifts as He wills.
My prayer is that we hold tight “The Gift” of the spirit of Christmas. May we be present and dwell in His Presence.

Ark of the covenant 2

The Gift
Where Love Meets Me

The design was so ornate
Lavishly glistening with gold
What is it about this gift
What a story this must hold

The carvings that sit atop
Angels and Seraphim
What are they sheltering
Under the delicate intricate trim

They say one is a Cherubim
What can all this mean
Are they guarding a mystery
Something I’ve heard not yet seen

This gift so gloriously fashioned
There is something priceless inside
This gift fashioned in gold
The place His presence abides

The surrounding of their wings
Extended covering the top
Yes they’re awaiting something special
Likened to a MASTER’S workshop

Lavishly covered in pure gold
The story now has been told
It is the place of covering
The Covenant Ark of His abode

The Ark of His Covenant
The Place of His Presence
Where He writes upon our heart
Inside our heart the law is evidenced

He purposed the law securely
Underneath His seat of mercy
Does this design point to us
Will there be some controversy

His presence is here
The seat where He abides
Covered by wings so large
A safe place where we can hide

The place of eternal protection
Guarded shelter under His wings
A place for perfect atoning
Covered only by His anointing

The gift where love meets me
Covering my every flaw
His Golden Ark of Covenant
Mercy the gift of eternal awe

Mercy was placed atop
Covering His Holy law
Because His grace is needed
When we sin and helplessly fall

His gift so intricately wrapped
Covered with purest gold
The greatest Christmas Gift
More precious than we know

Covered by His wings
The place His blood was applied
Because mercy triumphs over law
His salvation securely supplied

The golden Christmas present
Delivered to sinful man
Has been here from the beginning
Salvations Gift evident in the plans

© laurette laster
A few years ago, during advent, I was asked to introduce and light the love candle during service. As I sought The Lord about His love He revealed the gift He had wrapped in gold. This gift that keeps giving was given to His people from the beginning after taking them out of Egypt.

This gift, covered in gold, and commanded to be placed in the Holy of Holies. He gave me a very profound revelation of the Ark of His covenant being the most perfect gift to deliver at Christmas and the love He was planning to make manifest when the time was right. What a gift, what a story.

I saw for the first time the gift of His mercy seat, the gold ornate covering that set atop the Ark, Inside the Ark was the law of the commandments, commanded by God to be placed inside the Ark. The Ark of His Covenant was carried upon the shoulders of the priests and accompanied the children of Israel wherever they went. The Tabernacle, the place of encounters housed the Ark at the Center of their worship.

God knew we would never be able to fulfill and keep the commandments in ourselves. The plan of His salvation under Jesus shed blood was sealed from the beginning.

Ephesians 2:4-6 tells of His richness. But God, who is rich (wrapped our gift in gold)  in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Oh the gift of His Richness and Mercy. To the season there is revealed the reason.

tis the season tis the Reason

Psalm 91:4 says we take refuge under His Wings. Covered by His Mercy, under His Wings is our refuge. May we never profane or make common the Holy Gift from God, His salvation is a Holy gift, delivered through the greatest sacrifice known to man. May our salvation and our right to worship call us to a higher place of reverence in Him.

The Gift, The Christ, Our Lord.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

Out for Delivery

The Prophecy-The Promise-The Praise-The Peace

The angles and the heavenly host praised, saying “Glory to God in the highest.”
Today we are assured their praise was with full understanding of Jesus mission, The purpose of His coming, The Cross. The story of Jesus born as our Perfect Spotless Sacrificial Lamb making legal entry becomes more evident at His death, from the first announcement to shepherds.

dec34565-60db-4dfb-8318-caf3a34ded99

…The long awaited prophecy, delivered, when the time had come. And we find ourselves with a front row seat at the opening scene as all of heaven rejoiced before shepherds. The plan from before the foundation of the world was the News of the day. Today.

Was it the angelic praise? Could it have been hearing the heavenly host declaration? Or was it the promise of peace on earth and goodwill toward men that made the shepherds go and see and seek? Or was it the magnitude of all of the above?
I can only imagine their excitement in this Holy night. Saying to one another let’s go see this thing that has come to pass that God has made known to us.

Oh the magnitude of The First Christmas Message! I can feel the Spirit Of rejoicing.

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.””
Luke 2:13-15 NKJV

Out for Delivery

Good news your package is set for delivery today. Exciting news your package is out for delivery today.

Why now this time of travel

I don’t recall mention of this

No it was Hail Mary highly favored

I’ve been sent to tell you this

You shall conceive and bring forth a Son

You are to call His Name Jesus

Journey to Bethlehem now part of the story

House of bread, now Living He frees us

But we can look back now

At the traditions we’ve been taught

Have we forsaken reality

Is it exactly as we thought

It really wasn’t so silent

On that starry night

Only those engaged

Were aware of this holy sight

The journey was very grueling

Ninety miles in that day

Was an arduous event

For the two who were in the way

The journey had taken a toll

You know on Mary in her condition

She probably wasn’t complaining

Perhaps unsettled in the transition

For the two it wasn’t really calm

Many were bustling all around

Gathering into the village

To register each in their own town

As history has painted

Oh A glorious sight indeed

But only to those who had chosen

To bow their ear His Voice did heed

For the two who walked this out

Their commitment was experiential

But to those of us who read

We know every detail was very essential

He was working His plan of salvation

God was going to redeem mankind

The plan indeed had been written

Had its beginning long before this time

A decree was written then issued

Requiring that all must register

A census now would be gathered

Could Caesar know about our visitor from heaven

Why now the need to take a count

What better timing of events to record

Those written and spoken by the prophets

Not one minute detail could be ignored

Coming up from Nazareth

What did Joseph see

The journey dangerous and hard

Delivering to us, eternity

Wait this is just a business journey

To Bethlehem for the two

But how was Mary feeling

Aware of what was to ensue

Oh this seat we have been given

To view our Masters satisfaction

They however were living this out

Instructed only to follow a lawful action

When the days had been accomplished

Mary’s delivery time did come

All of heaven stooped to watch

The Birth of Jesus her newborn Son

Yes we should keep records

Of such marvelous timely events

We who sit in the stadium of time

Watching and waiting for redemptions ascent

He came to suffer

Our sacrifice to die

But not once in Heaven is it recorded

That this event would make them cry

For all of Heaven rejoiced

The Angels made a proclamation

Because He entered in legally

Heavens sacrifice for salvation

A glorious night yes I’ll say

When shepherds heard the news

Today in the city of David

Good News, God’s gift was delivered for you

laurette laster © 2018 November

Last year as I reread the birth of Christ, from Luke’s gospel it became apparent to me that delivery messages are exactly the message God used, or should I say the companies were using God’s original message. Your package has been delivered, said two thousand plus years ago. And today is still the most heralded message. The message poured out with angelic rejoicing as the heavens opened above Temple Shepherds in the field who were watching and keeping the sheep.

Yes The Child born of a virgin, the promised Messiah, the One who would be born to save His people from their sins, the One to be a great light to those who sat in darkness,  had been prophesied. The town, the mission, and the reason were known, but some still missed the most heralded news known to man.

Good News

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Today the long awaited arrival of Gods special delivery had come.

Good News your package has been delivered. Oh what glorious News. Have you been tracking The Arrival?

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

A Christmas Heart

My prayer is that we make time for Christmas this year. With all the festivities and games, the plans and the parties, may we never lose our zeal and passion, nor take our eyes off of “The Gift” of JESUS, our MESSIAH, the HOPE, the LIGHT, the JOY, the LOVE of Christmas.

A Christmas Heart

Can you feel it in your heart
Christmas time- a special part
Consolation has come for Israel
That Prophets of old did foretell

dec34565-60db-4dfb-8318-caf3a34ded99

Do you feel Him in your heart
Immanuel, Salvations start
Gabriel’s news to Mary he gave
Birth of Messiah, born to save

God has come in flesh to dwell
Heavens glory did show and tell
About Messiah and His entrance
A virgin shall give birth, to His preeminence

Hearts will break, on bended knee
Giving thanks when they believe
The time had come for God’s own plan
Eternity set in the heart of man

No more to sing Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel
The Lord was born at Migdol Eder
He has come to save us from our sin
Of His kingdom there shall be no end

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Luke 1-31-33 NKJV
And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Merry Christmas 🎄laurette

What makes this the most Wonderful time of the year? It is because this is the time we set aside each year to worship the birth of our Savior.

We are reminded by the lights, the sounds, and the smells, that Christmas is in the air.

Maybe we should remember to make this the most Worshipful time of the year. I pray we never get caught up in the festivities, and lose sight of the meaning of the season. We’ve heard and we know, Jesus is the reason for the season, but what about the meaning of Christmas.

By faith Wise men followed His star, looking for Him who is born King of the Jews. Saying we have come to worship Him.

The star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they came into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother and fell down and worshipped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold frankincense and myrrh. (Matthew 2:9-11)

They searched for many months, Jesus was a young child and He and Mary were in a house, not in the stable. Exceedingly great joy, They worshipped and presented their gifts to Him.

Months of searching, when they found Him, seeing His star, they fell down and worshipped Him.

Yes it is the most worshipful time of the year.

This makes me think of the lyrics to the song:

Behold your beautiful Savior, fall down worship Him the King born in Bethlehem.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette
