Jesus said, The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at Liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.
From HOPE is alive Series
Can you feel a heart break?
Have you heard the sound?
Did you feel the tremors?
Pieces crumbling all around.
Have you felt a heart break,
Are there ways to recognize?
Feelings hidden safely away,
Kept in check, ignored, disguised.
Do you know how hearts break,
Do you know the cause?
Can you rescue certain parts,
secure with tape and gauze?
When you see a broken heart,
join with me and pray,
Asking for our Father
To give us the words to say.
Oh Lord, it seems so broken,
Hearts in pieces strewn all around.
I know we are not without HOPE,
Your Love does more abound.
To those who hearts are broken,
Hopeless, in need of Your healing balm,
The ones who doubt and wonder……
Cover with Your peace and calm.
I know now why You said,
“The fields are white unto harvest.”
Close to the broken hearted You are,
To cover with Your garments.
I will put my trust in You,
and believe what You have said,
That Your Precious promises
Bring life to things once dead!
When it seems there is no hope,
I cry out, dry bones come alive!
Hear our prayers Oh Lord,
Over families and cities,
We prophecy, REVIVE!

Psalm 46:4-5 ESV
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.
Ezekiel 37:3-5 CEV
He said, “Ezekiel, son of man, can these bones come back to life?” I replied, “ Lord God, only you can answer that.” He then told me to say: Dry bones, listen to what the Lord is saying to you, “I, the Lord God, will put breath in you, and once again you will live.”
Good morning. I pray God’s full and abundant blessings over you and all you do. If you are, or know someone who is in a dark place of feeling hopeless, reach out for help. Please do not allow a hopeless feeling to cause you to make a wrong choice. We are not without hope. We are never without hope. Thank you for listening with me. Laurette
Your Deep Gentle instruction is greatly appreciated, Laurette, Thank You

Dear Laurette, God bless you, sister in Christ! In my experience as a wife, mother, grandmother, (retired) doctor and (practicing) pastor, people hate breaking things, even hearts. They fear a broken heart like it has a virus. The only ‘nurse’ able to handle a broken heart is the one whose heart was also broken in the past but now it is repaired (not by men, but by the Lord Jesus Christ). Like with fractures, once healed, the bone is stronger than before. It is the same with hearts. You cannot fix a broken heart thru an intermediary or thru phone. It is very difficult but not impossible. You must be ready to carry that ‘patient’ on your back. You must pray him back to wholeness against his will. You must feel the weight of his broken heart, sick, scratchy, dangerous, depressed, ungrateful…Few are willing to enter another’s pain… It takes courage and skill … the reward is not guaranteed while of earth… but “rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven…” (Mt 5:12)

Dr. Sylvia. God Bless you my sister in Christ. And thank you for you kind words and insight. You are truly a gifted teacher and pastor as is evident by your wise counsel and words.
Your description is complete and exact.
Yes, we must fracture and heal to become stronger. Our bones, likes trees become stronger when suffering breaks and fractures. Without these we could not grow tall. I thank God, for His healing balm, that has healed my broken heart. It indeed is stronger than I ever imagined possible. It is as if the ’emotional soul starvation’ bondage was purged out and then He filled me with His Precious, all Powerful Holy Spirit. Our Gift for the asking.
Just like in the movie The Miracle Worker, My all time favorite movie. The teacher had to isolate Helen, to create complete dependence and to extract the gift inside of her. That is what The Lord did with me. I wasn’t always such a gracious student. I think often about what I wanted to do and liken it to one particle part, (The dining room scene).
Thank you again. I look forward to following you and gleaning from you, just as Ruth gleaned the corners of the field. God Bless you richly-Laurette

Feel the sweet breeze of a new beginning… not ‘recycling’ of old emotions, but a new beginning!

Yes, His amazing grace. This was many years ago, now I serve others and love them, from my overflow not from my need. My husband and I, are also are ordained ministers. We serve as ministry leaders for Celebrate Recovery. It is so amazing to watch others breathe and begin again.
