This is The Lord’s Passover

Passover is the first of the three pilgrimage feasts that God has commanded. Saying three times a year all you men are to appear before the Sovereign LORD, the God of Israel. (Exodus 34:23) Repeated in Exodus 23:14,17-Dueteronomy 16:16 Psalm 84:7

Hurry get ready
We’re leaving in haste
The Lord God I Am
Said there is not time to waste.

I Am that I Am,
Has sent me to say
The time for deliverance
Does start today.

We shall eat it in haste
with our sandals latched
For this is “The Lords Passover”
Gird up our loins, ready our staff

Each family to choose
A Lamb for his household
without spot or blemish
A marked sign on the threshold

For deliverance does not come
From any Other
Than Jehovah Jireh
And this we will discover

The blood is covenant and for a sign
To lintels and doorpost applied
No other offering can you supply
A spotless lamb required.

This is a sign for us to see
With hyssop the blood we apply
When God sends judgement on Egypt
He will see at Passover and pass by

“On this night as I pass through
I will see and know the sign
That you have listened and obeyed
And by sacrifice now are you Mine.”

“I Am taking My people out
Just as I swore on oath
Into the land that I have promised
From Ramses to Succoth.”

When our children inquire and ask
About this service and memorial?
We’ll tell them how The Lord struck Egypt
Making known to them this tutorial

We were once slaves and prisoners
trapped by sin in Egypt’s land,
I Am that I Am, brought us up and out;
Rescued by His Righteous Right hand

Jehovah Jireh has provided
the mystery now made known
Given for us, His sacrifice
Is Jesus Christ, His very own!

Exodus 12:11-13 NASV
11Now you shall eat it in this manner: with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste– it is the LORD’S Passover. 12For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike down all the firstborn in the landof Egypt, both man and beast; and against allthe gods of Egypt I will execute judgments– I am the LORD. 13The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.…
Exodus 12:23-24, 26-27 AMP

For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel [above the entry way] and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to slay you. You shall observe this event [concerning Passover] as an ordinance for you and for your children forever.

When your children say to you, ‘What does this service mean to you?’ you shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of the LORD ’ S Passover, for He passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians, but spared our houses.’” And the people bowed [their heads] low and worshiped [God].

On each of the three pilgrimage feasts, The Feast of The LORD, that The LORD our God requires His people to appear before Him, are during full moons. You may be thinking so, what is so important about this? When God required that His people travel, He provided the light for the way. Yes I know the moon is for seasons, and I know that the moon also speaks of Israel. But I just find this one more amazing way of showing He was taking His people out to bring them into the land of milk and honey. To the land He had promised Abraham.  I find this to be just one more way of our Amazing God, caring and providing for His people. His requirements are always  met and supplied with provision.

His amazing attention to details does not surprise, no not at all. It is that He has everything so perfectly planned and laid out, and I fear that I often have missed the intricate details of our mighty God and Redeemer. He is in every (tiniest) detail, as Jesus said every jot and tittle. He is The Beginning and the End, The First and The Last, The Aleph and The Tav, He is our Mighty God who has redeemed us from the hand of the enemy.

This is The LORD’S PASSOVER! I pray Passover blessings to you and yours. This is an amazing time of the year, I pray we do not miss one minute detail of our Amazing God and Deliverer. I pray for our eyes, that our eyes will see our Mighty Redeemer in every particle and fiber of our world and in every minute detail, every bird that sings and fly’s, every flower that is blooms, every tree that is bearing leaves, blossoms and fruit, and in all that we do. Amen

Shabbat Shalom and Passover on April 19-2019, making it a double blessing and portion. I do believe this date is very prophetic and should be marked on your calendar. When your children ask you……………………………………………..

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time thank you for listening with me. Laurette
