Welcome to Teshuvah – Elul 9

September/Elul
Today is nine
He said the work schedule
Is right on time

I rise early
Then meet and go
If it weren’t for Him
I wouldn’t t know

I have so much to learn
About deadly weeds
I didn’t realize the danger
Or know about seeds

He’s begun teaching me
About multiplication
Good or bad
And soil saturation

Words have power
Check the seeds sown
Once in the ground
What is planted is grown

He speaks in parables
While explaining this stuff
Is my Teshuvah Date
Making this rough

He said it is given to me
The mysteries To know
We require more plowing
Before we can sow

The work of repentance or Teshuvah is much like readying and plowing our fields prior to sowing. This is the season of plowing after summers harvest has been harvested.

I had to go to Frisco TX today for an appointment. This is actually a rescheduled appointment from last week. I left my house with 10 minutes to spare, just North of Denton TX I got the GPS message that there was an accident ahead and I could expect a 20 minute delay. When I called the office they suggested I reschedule because they were short staffed. I thought to myself, had I taken the back way this wouldn’t be an issue.

We have two options when going to Frisco, McKinney, Allen or Plano. We have the option to take the back way as we call it. This allows me to avoid the interstate and traffic. The rural country drive is scenic and very picturesque. You almost feel as if you’ve stepped back in time during some of the trip. Today as I was driving I was so excited to see freshly plowed fields. These fields had cotton and corn a few months ago but now they are back to the basics. Freshly plowed and awaiting seasonal rains so farmers can sow seed for their crops.

As I was leaving I had a strong unction to grab my camera but pushed back the urge. I was sure disappointed when I came upon the freshly plowed fields that I didn’t have anything except my iPhone camera to take pictures with. I said, oh Lord, “this is why You urged me to grab my camera.” I pulled over and drove into the field, taking the rugged entrance made by the tractor and grabbed my phone to take these pictures. Looking at the plowed field made my mind consider a term I heard recently.

This year I learned a new term, hearing someone say, “SET YOUR PLOWS FOR DEEP.” Choosing deep for the plow helps with water retention. A few weeks ago I wrote how the ground was dry and brittle, and cracking open. Hard brittle ground does not absorb the moisture it actually repels it and the water runs off, expect where it has cracked open allowing the water to flow in. Just like being hardened or full of pride repels the blessing or the seed sown. The Sower sows the word but the ground and the condition of the soil determines whether or not the seed can grow and bring forth a harvest. We are the labors in the field, first ours, then helping others to learn the parable and the meaning.

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. (Luke 9:62 KJV)

The above scripture references starting out then looking back, as in longing for, or the desire to go back to the way it used to be. The Greek word for not fit, or disqualified, is “ipso facto.” The man who looks back is therefore, “ipso facto”, disqualified for the work of God’s kingdom. Our Lord knows full well how difficult the journey into the will of God is; remember He sweated great drops of blood. But He also set His face like flint according to the prophet. And we know we have all of heaven backing us in this work.

When we begin the work of repentance we want our heart to be cleared of all old stalks and debris. If we are to have an abundant harvest it will require us to set our face like flint and not look back.

In the latter respect, the month of Elul resembles the “holy” portions of the calendar. Elul is a haven in time, a “city of refuge” from the ravages of material life; a time to audit one’s spiritual accounts and assess the year gone by; a time to prepare for the “Days of Awe” of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur by repenting the failings of the past and resolving for the future; a time to increase in Torah study, prayer and charitable activities. Elul is the opportune time for all this because it is a month in which G d relates to us in a more open and compassionate manner than He does in the other months of the year. In the terminology of Kabbalah, it is a time when G d’s “Thirteen Attributes of Mercy” illuminate His relationship with us.

The month of Elul, says Rabbi Schneur Zalman, is when the king is in the field.

The Field

Indeed, the field is the prototype employed by Torah law to define the “work” that distinguishes between the holy and mundane days of the calendar.

In the month of Elul, however, the king comes to the field.

What happens when the king comes to the field? To understand the essence of Elul, we must first examine the relationship between the palace and the field — between Shabbat and the workweek, between the very concepts of “holy” and “mundane.” Are they really as distant from each other as their very different faces suggest?

I pray for all of us that this is a time to discern between the holy and the mundane.

This is the beginning of the fiscal month for many businesses and companies. A time to close out the books and make plans by assessing what worked, and what was profitable, and seeing what was not profitable. After looking honestly at this record of accounts we make plans for the coming year. Is this so different from taking time to look at our life and the past months? I want to make plans according to God’s calendar and His desires.

I’m ready to dig deep or set my plow for deep this year. I’m so hungry for all that God has for me. I’m digging in and not looking back. How about you?

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

Welcome to Teshuvah – Elul 8

Elul 8 The Season of our Repentance-Teshuvah

img_2067

September/Elul

Wow today is the eighth

I’ve become much stronger

The work is great

I didn’t realize the effects

This field was completely neglected

I didn’t realize the depth

Those roots deeply directed

My hands have blisters

I’ve clasp so tightly the plow

He said I’m doing good

I don’t know how

I thought the digging

And the shovel were torture

But this plow is powerful

When the heat is a scorcher

When we get this cleared

I tell you never again

Will I ever allow

Weeds and thorns to begin

Devoured my dinner

He said I need a plan

My Teshuvah Date

Is such a direct MAN

Redemption begins with repenting and it cannot happen any other way. Repentance is showing we understand the errors of our ways. God tells us, through Isaiah the prophet, in chapter 55, that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than ours. So, just because we think something is a good idea or a smart move doesn’t make it so. Even good things may not be God’s choice for us.

Repentance is not a humiliating act; it is a humbling intimate encounter, with the most High God. Our repentance is bowing and humbling ourselves under His mighty hand.

God is not waiting to ‘get us’. These are lies from Satan. These lies are used to keep you and me in fear, and keep us from seeking the heart of God. God is for us, and we need Him. In His light we see light. However He has made requirements that we must fulfill to be pardoned.

I’m often reminded of no matter how far we stray from God, or how fast we run from Him, there is this one truth that always stands out. Always!

That truth I am eluding to is this. That when we Shuv, or Turn, meaning to turn around, who do we see? It is none other than our Lord. We turn around and run smack dab into The Lord Jesus. So with that being said, He was pursuing us.

Everyone I know has this same revelation. He was always there. The Lord was there on the mountain and in the valley and if we made our bed in hell, we could not hide from Him. The Lord was there in the good times and in the bad times. And yes, He was always there.

Just as a groom pursues the one he loves and longs to marry and spend his life with, our Beloved pursues us.

Zechariah 1:3

Therefore say to them, “Thus says The LORD of hosts, “Return to Me”, declares The Lord of host, that I may return to you,” says the LORD of hosts.

Three times He makes it known He is the host, the LORD of host. It is His wedding party and He is the groom and the host.

He is pursuing us longing for us to turn to Him. His desire is that we Shuv, then we shall Teshuvah and be united (just as in a covenant of marriage) with His will and plan.

When we make plans for marriage there are preparations and plans, and yes even rehearsals, all with one purpose in mind that the ceremony be completed in a worthy fashion.

This is the season to set our plows for deep. I do not want any hard neglected areas in my heart. I want to dig up every rock, boulder, and all the clods from my field. We are breaking up fallow and hard ground in order to plant and sow what God desires in our lives.

I believe The Lord is calling us to have plans and seek His purposes. If we know where He is, and where He is leading us, we cannot be lured away by the devil and his schemes. We need to show ourselves diligent when digging out stones and the weeds from our neglected fields.

A couple of years ago I began to clear an old flower bed. This bed had Nandina’s and ground cover that had been growing freely for years. It had been allowed to take over. Digging out the Nandina’s was extremely difficult. The work was back breaking and tedious. Today if I even see a hint of a Nandina in this flower bed; I’m like oh no you don’t. The ground cover and the Nandina are not bad but left to themselves got way out of bounds. So it is with our lives and our hearts. If we do not tend our gardens and our field we may find good things taking over and choking out our time and affection with The Lord.

Is this why He has set Mo’edim and convocations, so we can rehearse and reset our affections back on Him? I believe this is exactly why. Don’t miss your appointment.

Don’t miss this special season. Teshuvah, my favorite time of the year, I will say of The Lord you are my refuge and my fortress, My God in you will I trust.

Hebrews for Christians

About the name “Elul”

In the Torah, the month of Elul is simply called the sixth month of the Jewish year. The name “Elul” (אֱלוּל) was “imported” by the Jews after their 70 year exile in Babylon (it is thought to originally come from an Akkadian word meaning “harvest”). Some commentators note that the word may also come from the root of the verb “search” in Aramaic, thus implying that this month should a time of soul-searching or “cheshbon ha-nefesh” (חֶשְׁבּוֹן הַנֶּפֶשׁ).

It is well known that the name Elul is thought to be an acronym for “Ani L’dodi V’dodi Li” – “I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine.”

In Hebrew:

אֲנִי לְדוֹדִי וְדוֹדִי לִי

הָרעֶה בַּשׁוֹשַׁנִּים

a•ni • le•do•di • ve•do•di • li

ha•ro•eh • ba•sho•sha•nim

“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” (Song 6:3)

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

It is time to be Face to Face with our beloved!

Until next time, thank you for listening me. Laurette

The Hound of Heaven

Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, That an abundance of water may cover you? Who can number the clouds by wisdom, or tip the water jars of heaven? (Job 38:34, 37)

img_0201-1

At the sound of the rain, I stepped outside to take a few pictures. Oh this much needed beautiful rain, the sounds and the smell flooded over me, as did this song; “There is a Fountain” and then something happened in my heart that caused a flood to flow out of my eyes.

Rains are set with harvest seasons and planting seasons. Planting seasons which ultimately end in harvest, both rely solely of the rain from heaven.

9e0f18c5-a560-4ee8-b878-8b880372032a-1

These seasons line up with spiritual truths, and allegories, and parables. We find the truths from the First Testament, told by the law and prophets, to The Second Testament taught by Jesus, all throughout the Bible.

Drip down O heavens, from above, and let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, and righteousness spring up with it. I, The LORD have created it.”  Isaiah 45;8

As I listened to the breeze rustling the leaves of the trees my own fountain began to flow. I thought oh how I’ve missed this sound and the cool breeze.

I realized the toil of the harsh summer’s heat, and the affect it has had on the earth around our parts. I then saw it is like hearts without the water of God’s word washing, watering, and nourishing their souls.

The cracks in the earth caused by the lack of water and the ground becoming hard and brittle break open….. But today I also saw the cracks and opening in a different way. I saw these cracks as an opening up, like a mouth gasping for air and for a drink. I saw this as an effort to breathe and begging or crying out for moisture.

(The dessert is a hot dry place, especially for those who don’t know where “The Water” is.)

When the rains come the water is able to run deep into the veins of the earth through theses openings and cracks.

I truly believe we are on the verge of revival. The fruit on the Nut Trees, fruit of the Oak trees and the Pecan trees (nut trees, pun intended) are flocked with fruit. The limbs are bowing almost to breaking.   I believe we will see breakthroughs; salvations, rededications, and yes repentant sinners being plunged beneath the flood will indeed losing all their guilty stains.

The song “There is a Fountain” flowed out of my spirit when seeing the rain coming down. I encourage you to listen to Selah sing this song.

There is a fountain filled with blood

Drawn from Immanuel’s veins

And sinners plunged beneath that flood

Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day and there may I as vile as he wash all my sins away.

Redeeming Love has been my theme and shall be till I die.

There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel’s veins, and sinners plunged beneath the flood lose all their guilty stains.

Those of you who heard my testimony about the vision I saw during Praise and Worship, of the handler with the bloodhound, will understand this.

All I could see was “The Arm of the Handler.” The handler was rubbing and wool-ing what looked like a shirt, all over the hounds face and nose. The action was dynamic and stood out to me causing me to meditate on what I saw for many days after and even now. The rubbing of the fabric was bold, having very determined and unapologetic movement, and with an unyielding force. Then I heard these words in my spirit; “every time you call out their name you are rubbing their scent in the hound’s nose.”

I now know and understand this vision in a much deeper sense.  The hound and the handler and the scent portray a picture of none other than the Holy Trinity.

The Arm is The Arm of the LORD God. We know the Arm He lay bare; it is Jesus as He was crucified and stretched out on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus our relentless Savior and Redeemer is indeed the Hound of Heaven. God breathed life into Adams nostrils and he became living being. The Spirit is the breath or the Ruach, the nose!

We are calling out for and believing for the lost. Our very own loved ones, friends, and these God Himself is after.

Someone running from the ‘law’ (in this case the law of love) tries to hide in dense forest (world) and a body of water (lost in sin)  in hopes the pursuer or blood hound will lose their trail and scent.

In our case they cannot, as long as we relentlessly call out for their souls, escape the capture.

When they are captured they will be plunged beneath the flood, lose all their guilty stains.

Oh what a day. It is really upon us.

The Hound Of Heaven

The Hound of heaven, He has your scent

He is fast approaching, He will not relent

Stop and surrender put your hands in the air

It is only in Jesus your life will be spared

Without His grace,

I could have never faced

The failures and the tests

And then believed the rest

That my story could change

And that my God would arrange

Offer to me a new life and start

One with meaningful parts

Only after I faced the shame and remorse

Realized the purpose to get back on course

God wasn’t planning a long camp out

Only a stopover to lead me on another route

The time I spent in fearful resistance

Never understanding His tender insistence

Only hindered and lengthened the pain

It never accomplished my purpose of hiding the shame

I want you to know and I’ve come to share

He already knows and He still cares

Nothing oh nothing under the sun

Will cause our Lord to tuck-tail and run

So if you’re running and hiding from life

Stop for a moment rest from the strife

He isn’t chasing to make you pay

He is coming to capture and show you The Way

It is in failure with a Repentant heart

That Jesus appears with your brand new start

The papers for pardon ready to be signed

So today is the day and now is the time!

The Hound of heaven indeed has your scent

He is fast approaching, He will not relent

Stop and surrender put your hands in the air

It is only in Jesus your life will be spared

Pray church pray!

Prophecy believer’s prophecy!

Speak scriptures of salvation over them!

Believe and call out their names!

Stand your watch, and wait for the salvation of The Lord our God!

The Hound of Heaven is hot on their trail.

He is going to search them out. God is going to capture them!  When earnestly seeking The Lord in prayer concerning this vision, I said Lord, are they criminals? Then this truth began to flow.

  1. They are indeed hardened criminals. Their hearts like the parched earth are dry,  cracked,  and hardened, from walking away from God.

  1. They are in violation of the LAW and Covenant.

  1. The LAW of God which is the covenant of love.

  1. They are disturbing the Peace.

They will be apprehended by His Love.

  1. Their lives depend on it. They will perish if allowed to remain unprotected in these elements.

2 Timothy 2:24-26

And a servant of The Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come their senses and escape the snare of the devil having been taken captive by him to do his will. (NKJV)

And after this, if they do not heed the correction, we get out of the way because The Hound of Heaven is hot on their heels.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

A Gentle Reminder

The harvest is plentiful and the laborers are under attack. But do not shrink back in fear, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they are Mighty In God. 2 Corinthians 10:4.

This sounds like 10-4, over and out. meaning the message has been received and understood.

Have you ever desired His Touch?

Gentle reminder that He is near

Not that you have forgotten

Yet longing for His soft touch to calm the fear

49d3bff2-a762-497d-b52a-33bb8b077fdf

Have you ever cried aloud

Oh God the fear has crept back

Only to be reminded

Persecution comes by attack

The words of James to count it all joy

With these diverse fiery trials

Yes breakthrough is very near

Ready our feet to dance for miles

For when we have harvested

Like a woman travailing in labor

Oh what joy and celebration

As we gather at The Master’s table

f54b1413-37f6-4434-bc57-be36f5ade026

So as the fiery trials rage

Seven times hotter are the afflictions

Keep our eyes focused on Jesus

Hold fast our godly convictions

For the promise is sure and true

We shall reap if we do not faint

Satan desires to wear out

The people of God His precious saints

We shall rest when we must

Not forget to drink in plenty of liquid

Living water from the wells of salvation

Certain to extinguish the lies and contradiction

I hear the sound of abundance

It is coming over the mountain

For our God is sending revival

Salvations well the flowing fountain

Recently I have gone through some difficult times and I’ve had to remind myself how to fight. Not to prepare physically to fight, but fight spiritually. You know the fight we fight as Christians? We fight fiery darts by soaking our shields of faith in water. Today I find myself wondering,  is this why we need the opposition. Is it to remind us to sharpen or swords, load our cannons, sharpen our axes, (not grind them), and make ready our weapons?

Last night out of my mouth came the words, “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they are mighty in God, to the pulling down of strongholds. Then I knew I had unleashed and unlocked my arsenal.

The old fear left when I opened the door of my arsenal. I saw and immediately grabbed every weapon I needed. This arsenal is full of swords. Which believers know is the the word of God.  My soul quieted and I had His peace.

So as I submitted to God, the enemy surely did flee. When he saw the arsenal and he knew it was over for him.

Stand still and see the salvation of God. Exodus 14:13

Drink plenty of liquids this heat is fierce.

1      “And in that day you will say:

Oh LORD, I will praise You;

Though You were angry with me,

Your anger is turned away and You comfort me,

  1. Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, For the LORD GOD is my strength and song; Yes, He has become my salvation.”
  2. Therefore with joy you will draw water From the springs of salvation.
  3. And in that day you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name [in prayer]. Make His deeds known among the peoples [of the earth]; Proclaim [to them] that His name is exalted!”
  4. Sing praises to the LORD, for He has done excellent and glorious things;
  5. Let this be known throughout the earth. Rejoice and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”

ISAIAH 12:2-6 AMP

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. (KJV)

You will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation, (CSB

With great joy, you people will get water from the well of victory. (CEV)

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

The Sacred Place

The Sacred Place
9e0f18c5-a560-4ee8-b878-8b880372032a-1
I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me diligently find Me. Proverbs 8:17

The Sacred Place

I knelt down in that familiar place
I bowed my head in prayer
Folding my hands that feeling
Our sacred time alone to share

“I remember so many times”, I said
Our special sacred place
This is where it all got real
You listened and I felt completely safe

To say what needed to be said
I didn’t have to pretend
I knew we were going to meet
Your heart and mine did blend

Sometimes a word of truth
Sensing Your gentle soothing hush
The love exchanged during our encounters
I never wanted to hurry or to rush

So often I came to meet with You
Evidenced by the ridge worn in the carpet
The change not seen immediately
I realize oneness was Your goal and target

Oh those early years
You taught me how to stay
Was from my state of desperation
That You taught me to earnestly pray

How I need Your guidance
It is Your voice that I must hear
Are You sure I’m where I should be
Oh my Father show me You are near

My heart is drawn back yet again
To the place it all began
I kneel down and bow my head
I whisper I’m here again

The desperate cries and groaning
From deep within my heart
This morning I bowed down again
Hungry enough to wait is where I’ll start

I can pray from wherever
Yes I can pray at any time
But when I need an encounter
You draw me to our sacred place to remind

I’m drawn here in desperation
Back to our place sacred and familiar
I feel Your soothing hush-do not fear
Why my child are you so bewildered

I knelt down in our sacred place
I folded my hands in prayer
I need to hear Your Voice again
I’ve come to listen as You share

“But from there you will seek The Lord your God and you will find Him, if you search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 4:29)
Jesus said love The Lord you God with all your heart, all your soul, all of your mind, and all your strength. And the second is like this: you shall love your neighbor as yourself Mark 12:30-31

Recently I was going through a dry spell. Some of the younger crowd might say, “just not feelin it.”

Nothing was wrong, but my soul had a deep hunger for more of Him and His touch. My prayers were powerful and I could feel His presence but I wanted more. I’m sure you can identify with what I am describing. Times when you want to know, and need to know that it is more than words you are praying. Like a face to face encounter with our Savior.

One morning while praying about this I was prompted to go kneel by the side of my bed and pray. This place is very sacred to me. This was my altar for many years, after purchasing my first home, following a divorce, years ago. My address has changed, my singleness has changed, along with many other things, but one thing hasn’t changed, my Savior who appeared to me during times prior in a lawn chair on a porch, and again at this place.

He is the One who brought me out. I grew to love my Savior Jesus, the One who paid my price for redemption and Holy Spirit who speaks to me about what my God desires for me. Prior to the purchase of this house I had encountered the very real Jesus, and was baptized with the baptism of His Holy Spirit and fire, while sitting in a lawn chair, on the front porch of my mother’s house. I had been seeking God with all my heart. I was living with my mom having left at His prompting.

I’m sure each of us has that time in life with our Father and Savior and His Spirit, where it got raw and it got real. That place where we decided I am going to make it or die trying. “I need You Lord” was the cry of my heart. I knew He had brought me to this place so how else could I continue forward, but by His word.

Years ago I wore a huge ridge in my carpet kneeling beside my bed. A fitting description of what it means by “pressing into the things of God.” My pressing into Him while praying caused a ridge in the carpet. I didn’t realize I was even doing this until seeing the ridge. I noticed it got bigger overtime. At first I didn’t realize where it was coming from. I didn’t give it much thought in the beginning stages  and I’m not exactly sure when I noticed and realized what caused it.

Starting over was frightening and exciting for this woman. I was starting over and this time it was with Him. Jesus and I were partners. He had manifested Himself to me and I wanted Him more than I wanted any manmade ideas or quick fixes. I would pray and believe to hear from Him. I would tell The Lord, “according to Your word, if I diligently seek You, I can hear from You. I would say, I need to hear from you and I expect to hear from YOU.”

Today looking back reminds me these times were among the hardest days and moments of my life, but the sweetest times of tender union with Him. Yes, He spoke to me. He spoke through dreams, through reading my bible, through stumbling forward, through tested preachers and teachers, and yes I have been gifted to hear His audible voice more than once.

When I couldn’t see anything happening He continued to draw me, and I kept believing and calling out. I couldn’t see what was happening but the momentum was building. Just like the pushed back carpet that created that ridge hadn’t appeared overnight, neither did the changes I was praying for. But after many heartfelt prayers through tears with snot running, through the screams, the absolute begging, and pleading and yes praising, things were changing and did change.

Is this how the truth of God appears? I believe the answer is a resounding yes. Greg and I were talking recently; how you cannot draw the exact line between the hour, or the exact minute, or day, when it is in God’s timing. God’s timing is supernatural and a mystery.

Ephesians 1:4 tells us that He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight, in love. The NLT says He chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. Weymouth says, He chose us as His own.

Greg said, “I believe it is like the colors in the rainbow.” You know they are different because you see all the colors, but to divide the colors for the human eye is impossible. We cannot find the exact line of demarcation in events He has planned; but, like the rainbow is a symbol of promise and His covenant, how much more the covenant of salvation, and His faithful love for us, His people.

There are times, seasons, and appointments with God that have eternal meaning. When we do not understand what is happening, something great is being ushered in for His people.

If you can’t see the change you need today I encourage you to seek The Lord with all your heart. When our minds, our wills, our hearts, and our spirits mesh with His we lose all pretense and we get real. When He knows we are desperate for Him, He appears. And sometimes He just appears to encourage us and let us know He is with us.

God has never denied a desperate prayer. He may change the circumstance, He may change the other person, but He may not. I promise He does change us, and we can trust His process to be better than we could think or imagine.

If you have gotten too deep, too mature, overly obligated or just so busy, I have a suggestion for you and for me. Let’s go back to where it all began and with childlike faith just spend time with Him. We will find Him when we diligently seek Him. Oh what a promise.

As I look back to the times reminisced in the poem above, it seems like it was only a couple of years ago but it all began two decades ago.

He is faithful!

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.
Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

2020/5780 and Faithful Over The Few Things

Recently I heard Dutch Sheets sharing his vision of the skeleton key. In a vision, Dutch Sheets was given a skeleton key and then a keyhole appeared, and the Spirit told him it was for the unlocking of the ancient. I immediately thought about the 7 feasts of The Lord.

img_5564

An eye chart is written very similar to the picture above. Eye charts measure and diagnose normal sight. Do you see what this says?

Today I noticed something while I was reading about the Hebrew year of 5780 that is fast upon us. This Jewish New Year will begin with Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets on the evening of September 29th.  When my eyes fell on 2020/5780 my mind immediately calculated the addition of 5+7+8+0 before I knew what happened I saw

5+7=12

12+8=20

5 we know is the number for grace, 7 the number for God’s perfection, 12 the number of government, and 8 being the number of new beginnings. (Yes I love numbers and believe they speak. As Troy Brewer says they preach).

So we still have the Hebrew Calendar and the Gregorian calendar aligning. And we have 20/20/20. Both calendars are turning over and ushering in a new decade

Earth and the body of believers are about to collide with heavens agenda.  And this sounds like alignment for assignments to me.

The whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of God!

In September 2016 The Lord gave me a word. Early on a Saturday morning, my husband and I were driving down the interstate. The moon and sun were directly aligned in the heavens above. It was as if they were staring at each other face to face. The full moon in the sky to the West, and the Sun rising in the East were facing each other. I felt a quickening from The Lord, as  I was looking at this sight. I heard The Spirit of the Lord say: “Alignment for your assignment.” It is time to come into alignment with the theme of God.

Then this morning while reading a prophetic word for 2020/5780 I had the knowledge of the 20/20/20.

But today I see even deeper into this image and I feel prompted to share. I am so excited and I pray you will be also.

The sun facing the moon and the two being face to face has a more profound meaning to me this morning.

On that morning in September 2016, I had a sense that I was present and being shown something. It was if I was being wooed, and was supposed to discern a deeper truth and an encounter. I definitely had one and heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me.

During the month of Elul, our rich Hebrew culture has a saying and believes the King is in the Field. It is the time when The King, Jesus is walking among His people and checking on them. It is also a time to be face to face with Him and make our petitions known.

Remember Bob Rogers and his dream? His dad said remember Bob, August is the month of answered prayers. We know prayers are answered all the time but is there something supernatural about the Fall Feasts? I certainly believe there is.

The month of Elul is the beginning of the forty days of Teshuvah, and those who know me know this is my favorite time of the year.

The acronym of this holy season is from Song of Songs 6:3, I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine. This is another face to face encounter.

As I thought about this again this morning; about the sun facing the moon these scriptures came to me.

Psalm 19:4-6 their line is gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race. Its going forth is from the end of the heaven, and its circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Psalm 104:19 CEV You created the moon to tell us the seasons. The sun knows when to set,

1 Corinthians 15:41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars:

Psalm 8:3 KJV When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;

I delivered this word above, even having it inscribed on book markers given to those in attendance, while teaching at a women’s conference at our church in October 2016.

Alignment for assignment is still being preached and prophetically established. 20/20/20

I recently wrote in a blog that 20/20 is a vision diagnostic term for having average or normal sight. So what about 20/20/20? Well 60 is a very supernatural bible number. The number 60 is the product of three consecutive digits

The number 60 is the value of the Fifteenth Letter in the Hebrew Alphabet, Samek, which literally denotes to uphold, help, or support. Samek is the central and most active letter in the word yesod (foundation). yesod is # 3247 in Strong’s Concordance meaning base or foundation.

Ezra 6:3 which happens to be the Fifteenth book in the bible says; In the first year of King Cyrus, King Cyrus issued a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem: “Let the house be rebuilt, the place where they offered sacrifices; and let the foundations of it be firmly laid, its height sixty cubits and its width sixty cubits.

(This is significant because the number 120 is the value of the name of the Fifteenth Letter as well as the world amud (pillar). information shared from © biblewheel.com check them out)

If you are faithful over the little God will make you rulers over much

Matthew 25:23 come and share in your Master’s happiness

Faithful Over The Few Things

I don’t want to struggle for a little venue
The Lord wants me to serve the world
Why do we fight to stay on a small stage
When it is destinies He longs to unfurl

The little mindedness and traps
Holds and bars on every window
Why oh why do we limit His power
Living with what if’s, unfounded innuendoes

Oh to be bold and reach out
Take hold with all our heart
Exactly what there is for us
Discovery of our faithful part

No matter the struggle
In spite of the pain
In the end all that counts
Is we will not be ashamed

I pray we never hold back
For fear of petty rejection
Because simply my dear
How unlimited is God’s correction
He told Abraham to count the stars
Joshua and Caleb to spy out the land
David was just delivering lunch
Goliath dead stone and a sling in his hand

What exactly is He revealing to us
To point out the small mindedness in our head
God said to Moses what is in your hand
Prophet sent to the widow asking for bread

Naomi well she became bitter
Elizabeth felt she had to hide
Hannah they thought was drunk
But in the end to all God did oblige

Ruth, we know she was a follower
Esther you know became queen
Rahab, remember the harlot
Yeah those are God’s team

What is in our homes
What is in our hearts
You may think it insignificant
But remember The Big is His part

Wow are we actually seeing into the things and the theme of God?  The supernatural is coming and is already upon us.

Open our eyes Father, that we may behold Your supernatural call.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

Fragrance Like the Rain

You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, The LORD,  have created it.

biblelens_2019_08_03_11_27_16_6990

Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time seek The LORD, until he comes and showers His righteousness on you. (Hosea 10:12)

I sense Your covering  in the clouds
Your fragrance fresh like rain
But Oh my Precious Lord
I became one with You through the pain

261d84f0-bbf4-4704-b6ac-5c732b98fb95

I’m reminded In good times
Yes comforted during fear
That You are always close
In tenderness drawing near

Your word did calm the sea
The voice others didn’t hear
Is always just what I needed
You are my help and constant cheer

Indeed my Living Savior
With excitement I shall give an account
For this hope that is in my soul
Just one drop an immeasurable amount

More than enough to span galaxies
More than our minds can imagine
Yes too vast and numerous to count
Cannot be contained by earthly chasms

I sense Your covering with the clouds
My skin glistens in the rain
But I’ve come to understand Your ways
In the trials and the pain

To wish a life free from pain
Meant I had to lose one ounce
Of how I’ve come to ‘Know You’
I wouldn’t wipe away the smallest drop or amount

Todays rain is such a welcomed blessing. With our Texas heat blazing and the humidity, it has been unbearable to those who work outside.

I am reminded that the work of renewing our mind isn’t easy, and it isn’t for the faint of heart. For myself and others, it was often accompanied with a lack of understanding. Not understanding what The Lord is doing in our lives can leave us asking (well maybe begging); why God why, when God when, how God how, but we remember that we have this promise: in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

Let us not grow weary in well doing, in doing good, for in due time, due season, at the appointed time, the proper time, the right time, we shall reap a harvest if we do not faint. Galatians 6:9

The leaves glistening in the much need moisture this morning gives me hope and I am reminded, there is an appointed time.

Due season always comes, faint not.

The Lord told Habakkuk, write the vision or revelation and make it plain, so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time though it lingers wait for it, it will certainly come and will not delay.

Development, tilling the ground and planting takes time, and delay is not denial of His promises.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

Morning Reminder in Mid July

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh the harvest? behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. (John 4:35 KJV)

Morning Reminder in Mid July

Sixty one degrees
On this Texas July morn
Is this a harvest reminder
Vast difference from the norm

I find myself wondering
Is this a mid point quickening
Ready our equipment for harvest
New desires now flickering

What a joyous reminder
Autumn air cool and dry
Fruit harvest is coming soon
Morning reminder in mid July

Wednesday morning, July 24th, was an unseasonably cool 61 degrees in my hometown in North Texas. What a stark contrast from the 97-99 degree days of the previous several weeks. We have had an amazing spring this year, with lots of rain, so much rain that had caused the flowers and trees to bloom and produce like crazy. However, the last few weeks have been very dry, very hot and scorching. We’ve had to turn our sprinklers on just to keep the grass from scorching.

Whoever gathers in the summer is a wise son, and he who sleeps in harvest is a son that brings shame. (Proverbs 10:5 ISV)

On July 1st, In the early morning hours, my husband Greg began to pray, he said to the Lord, “Lord it is July 1st.”  In his spirit he heard the Lord answer, “It is the midpoint of the year.”

This standing alone would be amazing to me, however, the day before Greg was quickened by the Spirit of the Lord, “Look at where you are working.” Greg was working at Midcourt, and Midway road, road in Carrollton Texas. He called and shared this with me on June 30th. Greg was explaining to me, he said, “I don’t understand exactly what it means but I feel a strong unction this is prophetic. Then early the next morning on July 1, The Lord reminds Greg it is the midpoint or the middle of the year.

Is there a message involved in these events and happenings? What does it mean and what is the message our Lord is sharing with us?

Early Wednesday morning, as I stepped outside to feed the birds, I stepped into an unseasonably cool morning. What a refreshing feeling. The atmosphere has a ‘fall’ feel to it. It is has been so much cooler, and with the lower humidity, well it has felt awesome.

Fall is our favorite time of the year. Greg and I even married in the fall, so it is extra special to me. I also believe it has a profound and deep meaning with the timing of The Lord, and the fall feasts of Leviticus chapter 23. Understanding the cycles of time and the importance of cycles is what makes a good farmer just that, a good farmer. Timing is crucial.

With all this being said I was praying and telling the Lord it feels like fall. I then was quickened in my spirit that fall is harvest season. I know this yet, is this reminder to stay ready?

Recently I shared a poem the Lord had given me in April, along with a short blog. In April I had  a vision, I saw Holy Spirit handing out shovels. He was handing these to believers and workers as we were going into the field. He was saying it was time to work and dig deep to bring in a good harvest.

A brother blogger shared how his father and grandfather were farmers. He explained you do not rest if you are a farmer. There is so much work to do even after the fields are plowed and planted and the harvest is coming up. As the harvest is growing and ripening a good farmer has made sure his entire fleet of farm equipment is field ready.

What if the harvest was ripe and our equipment was not ready and operational? What if our tractor batteries were dead? Or perhaps the combine, the trucks and trailers had flats and the tires were old and dry, or worse yet what if we hadn’t secured and hired the needed helpers. Without help we cannot bring in a harvest: the harvest would be left to die in the field, or die on the vine.

I believe this cool weather is a quickening and a reminder, a reminder that we do not want to be caught behind and that we are to stay ready and to stay excited.

And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of the ingathering, [which is] in the end of the year, when thou has gathered in thy labours out of the field. Exodus 23:16

Fall is the time of Teshuvah, or the season of our repentance. It is also called the forty days of repentance. It is my favorite time of the year and now I know why. I love this time of the year and after discovering this truth, many things made sense to me. I used to feel lonely at the onset of fall. I would experience a deep sadness like something was wrong but I didn’t know what.

In 2009 The Lord spoke to me concerning repentance and Rosh Hashanah or the feast of Trumpets, the blowing of the shofar. Did you know that the cornucopia is a replica of the shofar? I’m sure some of you remember seeing cornucopias with apples, corn, squash, grapes, and various fruits, overflowing from them, right? The fall feasts was introduced and imitated and later became known as Thanksgiving in the United States of America.

I was studying and preparing to teach on the subject of Rosh Hashanah at our Monday Night bible study. I had gone outside to mow before showering and getting ready. I didn’t feel like I was prepared to do the teaching and give the subject justice. I was hurried and praying, no I was actually begging. By mistake, I had mowed over some leaves and now was raking them up, which I didn’t have time for when I said, “oh Lord I need your help, help me hurry so I can study more.” It was at that exact time I heard the audible voice of God. He said to me, “Laurette, The tree is in Rosh Hashanah.” I got it! The scriptures, the teaching, the mystery would continue to be unfolded to me, and continues even to this day.

Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of the ten days of Awe, preceding the Day of Atonement. These are high holy days in the feasts of The Lord.

This is the time that The Spirit of The Lord is drawing us into a deeper relationship with Him. He is wooing us into sanctification and a time of being set apart. For a tree, the tree is preparing for root season. A tree cannot grow taller if it does not grow deeper. And for the believer, well we cannot go higher if we do not go deeper.

The tree will cut off the leaves and no longer supply nutrients but will draw the nutrients from the leaves and store these nutrients in their roots. This is done to nourish the tree during the long winter months.

Teshuvah, a season and an appointed time, God’s meeting time with His people, His beloved. I encourage you to check it out. No matter if you need to be saved, have only been saved a short time or have been saved for a very long time, this is still a crucial time.

After making Jesus the Lord of my life and not just my savior, I no longer feel the deep sadness or the sense that something is wrong in the fall. I still feel deep calling unto deep, but I am excited now and I want you to be also. God is lonely for His people, He is a jealous God. He wants a special time apart with His beloved.

Psalm 42:2, 7 my soul thirsts for God, the living God. Where can I go and meet with Him? The Aramaic translation says, I am thirsty for You God.

Deep unto deep is calling at the noise of Thy water-spouts, all Thy breakers and thy billows passed over me. (Psalm 42:7 YLT)

Just like a married couple remains married, it is so important and crucial to the union to steal away for a time of refreshing at their anniversary.

So we prepare and spend time washing off the dirt of the field and the work from this past year? Time spent in the quietness with The Lord is needful. It is how we prepare and ready our field equipment.

And guess what I’ve blown it a few times or more this year, so I look forward to putting off the dead works of this past year, while allowing God to show me any dead works and reveal to me where I need to repent, change my mind. I am quick to repent but sometimes we don’t even realize we missed it until after time alone spent with God. It is all so exciting to me. I pray it becomes exciting to you also.

Times of refreshing are promised after a time spent in repentance. Acts 3:18

The refreshing is like a cool shower after long, hard, hot days of sowing and weeding in the fields. It is newness, a refreshing, a cleansing and showering off of all the dirt.

Some of you may not agree and I say to you, ask God and then research this subject.

Bob Roger’s a pastor from Louisville, KY and a friend of Perry Stone’s once told Perry how after his father passed away, Bob saw him in a dream. He was giving his son wisdom about the ministry, turning to leave he looked back saying, Bob, remember August is the month for answered prayer.” I’m not sure Bob even knew about Teshuvah at that time.

So as we fast approach August, and harvest season I think we need to check our harvest equipment and be sure all is field ready. We don’t want to miss out on what The Lord is doing.

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom.

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette

My Heavenly Shovel

One word from God says so much: Didactic Wow God, just wow!

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till He come and rain righteousness upon you.  (Hosea 10:12 KJV) It is time to seek The LORD until He comes and teaches you righteousness(Jubilee Bible) (YLT) Till for yourselves tillage of knowledge, To seek Jehovah, Till He come and shew righteousness to you.

My Heavenly Shovel

The Lord is handing out shovels
I was struggling to understand
I thought what on earth is this for
As He placed it right into my hands
Feilds and other 10-01-16 180
The truth is I’ve been out of sorts
Restless becoming easily distracted
It is I supposed just Spring Fever
I kept hearing the word didactic

You’ve given me a shovel
Exactly what are You teaching today
You want me to what
Keep digging is all He did say

Dig much deeper, He said
Put your face toward the ground
With head bowed down smell the earth
Listening for abundance sounds

Getting the ground prepared
Sometimes hard and very tedious
But I heard Him say, “if they only knew”
I recognize that voice, it is JESUS

Know what My Lord, oh tell us now
The purpose for those shovels
He said for now dig much deeper
This is not the time for rebuttals

When things look bleak never despair
Wearing out My saints, the devils age old tactic
But you My dear ones, know better
Digging deep brings forth the galactic

New growth will multiply and spring forth
Planting and sowing takes time and patience
For just at the precise time My friends
You’ll see and witness precisely how gracious

So take your shovel in hand
Digging deep while exclaiming restore
Because when this harvest comes forth
It is going to better than ever before

Yes we are commanded to believe
For a harvest better than ever before
Because I just heard The Lord
He said, “from shore to shore”

The Lord gave me this poem in April. I saw during prayer, Holy Spirit handing out shovels. God’s people were lined up to go into the fields, I was in line with the others. I was excited to witness this vision. I knew it meant the fields needed cleared to be able to receive and grow seed. I also knew it meant there was work that needed to be done. Those of us who garden or have dug up roots know  it can be tedious and back breaking work. But if we want to stop the growth we must dig it up by the root. Weeding and removing stones is crucial for good flower or vegetable gardens.

When thinking about this vision and poem, I think about the parable of the Sower. The Sower is sowing the word on all ground. The condition of the ground allows or disallows growth. The question is never about the ability of the seed to grow. We know the seed is the incorruptible word of God, Jesus Christ. This story is however about the ability of the ground to receive, protect, nurture, and then produce a harvest from the seed.

Working the ground and digging out stones or boulders (hard places), weeds, cares of the world which represent worry, anxiety and the things of no kingdom value take up precious space. All the while drinking up the moisture, thus choking out the good seed. Then that wayward ground, common places everyone has walked over.

I wasn’t certain about the definition of didactic. Have you ever thought to yourself, do I really know the true meaning of a word?

Many years ago when studying for tests or doing reading assignments, I would come across a word I didn’t know the definition of. I would ask my mother to tell me the definition of the word. She would always, and I mean “always” reply, “go get the dictionary and look it up.”  As a teenager, I would get so frustrated, because she knew the definition. “Just tell me mom”, I would say.  She would say, “If you look it up you will always remember the definition.” I would go and get the dictionary to look up the definition of the word, many times sighing or giving a huge ‘ugh’ in response. She would smile and ask me “what does it say?” Then I would read it to her. She would say, “Now you will always know the meaning of that word.” Today I immediately go to the dictionary and look up a word if I have any doubts. I do have very fond memories of my mom and her insistence that I look up the definition.

So I thought I would look into the definition of the word didactic, only to discover the definition means intended to teach.

Merriam dictionary definition: intended to teach, intended to convey instruction and information as well as pleasure and entertainment, didactic poetry, making moral observations.

This word is borrowed from the New Latin didacticus, borrowed from Greek didaktikos, apt at teaching. The depth of this word means to learn and become knowledgeable or skillful, it means instructive, educational, informative, academic, wow. Marvelous power, dasrah accomplishing wonderful deeds, Going back even further to Greek denea, “plans, intentions.” Synonyms- homiletic, moralistic, preachy, sermonic. Well now you know. Sounds like a Holy Spirit revival to me, if we can learn a few things and if we are willing to work.

When He gives me a word that isn’t in my daily vocabulary He blows my mind. One word from God, says so much. I am always amazed when I go look the word up, and I think wow God, just wow. I wonder if He and my mom are in cahoots knowing I’ll go look the word up.

And Jesus said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable?

In the Message translation bible, the subtitle is A Harvest Story. The disciples came to Jesus, and asked, “Why do You tell stories?”  So stories are parables and sermons that teach us, so that we may become skilled and knowledgeable in the word of God.

When He was alone, the Twelve and the others around Him asked Him about the parables. He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. (Mark 4:11 NIV)

We understand that everything in the kingdom aside from miracle working power is accomplished through seedtime and harvest. The ground must be cultivated and fertile. All the hard places must be broken up in order for God’s word to take root and grow.

When the Lord calls us to pray and intercede we become His hired hands. We pray for our Nation, our cities, our government, our children and families and the lost, then we are co laborers in the harvest field. We are working for and with our Lord. We are going to see an incredible harvest and witness the eternal results when we get to heaven. Now you know why we have been laboring so. We are working the fields. It isn’t for sissies or for the lazy. I’m so glad I was in line to get my Heavenly shovel. Did you get yours?

Drip down, O heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open up that salvation may sprout and righteousness spring up with it; I The LORD have created it. (Isaiah 45:8 BSB)
(The photo’s above are from a paper shell tree that I planted in January 2015 and a fig tree I planted this spring. I remember how perfect the ground was for digging and planting in winter of 2015. I ordered these tree’s in the late summer for delivery at recommended time. The instructions said, your trees will be shipped bare root and need to be planted within 24-36 hours after arrival. Some well meaning folks said I don’t think you will be able to hand dig the hole deep enough to plant the tree. I thought Lord help me because I need to get this tree in the ground. The earth was soft and perfect for digging and planting. We had a very wet fall and early winter and the ground was amazing.  I told my husband, now I know now how farmers feel. I explained to him,  I could smell the heartiness of the earth. It was so memorable I can smell it even now. It had a very distinct fragrance about it. I would describe it as rich, clean and moist soil and I could smell the goodness in it.  Now four years later, we are seeing the  first fruit from our pecan trees. The fig tree was planted this past spring and almost immediately began to bear fruit. Some take longer than others. Nevertheless I can’t wait to taste this precious fruit this fall, just in time for the Fall feast and harvest. The ground that I planted these trees in is an old garden spot and yes it is good ground.)

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord cause His countenance to rise upon you and give you Shalom. Amen

Until next time, thanks for listening with me. Laurette

She is America

I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. (Habakkuk 2:1)

Definition of habeas corpus. 1 : any of several common-law writs issued to bring a party before a court or judge especially : habeas corpus ad subjiciendum. 2 : the right of a citizen to obtain a writ of habeas corpusas a protection against illegal imprisonment.

This year something was very different. I cannot define the feeling but it was different. During Independence Day and the fireworks I had a stirring inside that I haven’t experienced before. I’ve witnessed several Independence Days in my life, and I have seen a lot of fireworks, but something seemed different this year. There is a deep calling, a drawing to realize the times, and the responsibility our nation has.

During one of fireworks show I had the overwhelming feeling and sensation that I was witnessing along with heaven, our America the beautiful, our great Nation’s birthday. I saw as it were, that I was a member at her birthday party and she was being celebrated and honored. I’ve never felt like that before. I have been patriotic all of my life. I now believe it is a calling and a developing of a prophetic office, The Lord has positioned me for, and set  me in, and not just because I am from the traditional era and generation.  Greg laughs and shakes his head when I don my red white and blue, my stars and stripes wardrobe, shirts, earrings, glasses, but just for me, he will wear his patriotic shirts also.

We are about to see some great changes in our Nation. The absolute disgrace that is heaped on the United States of America is at a level never witnessed before . It is not only disgrace it is pure evil. Ungodly, immoral evil that has come out like cock roaches after dark in our country. We are witnessing bizarre extremes; I sometime have to shake myself to be sure this is reality and not a night mare. There is a war raging, but do we see exactly who we are warring against, and what they are after?

Some well meaning Christians believe the church doesn’t have a role in politics. This is pure ignorance to me.  I can somewhat see where and why they would believe this, if we buy the lie of remaining passive, turning the other cheek, over and over, staying to ourselves in holy huddles, but then how do we define the, “occupy until I come” parable. Many tell this parable as a lazy evil steward parable, and it is showing know willingness to work out our faith and invest in the kingdom, but the parable and the talents are business terms. Jesus is saying, I’m leaving it with y’all, keep the business going and profiting until I return. He isn’t coming back for a beat down bride. The church shouldn’t be suffering from battered wife syndrome. We should be blooming for the glory of God and telling of the wonderful things He is doing for us. Jesus wasn’t passive and He wasn’t weak or cowardly. He looked death right in the eye and said for this reason I was born and came.

God fearing patriots should hold office, at all levels, and this would eliminate many of our problems. I believe this would be one way of occupying until He comes. Jesus also said when I come will I find faith? Why would we need faith if we weren’t going to be using it to advance the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God cannot grow under a socialist stronghold.

With patriots in office we wouldn’t have a perfect government but a moral government. And today a moral government would be a breath of fresh air. By patriots I am referring to men and women who hold to moral and ethical standards, have a love for the One True God, the triune Godhead of God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit, a love for our country, and a love for mankind. These should be prerequisites for serving  in and receiving paychecks for the congress and other governmental offices. Then we wouldn’t need to stampede the polls like our lives depended on it. I believe Jesus is calling His church, His bride to stampede and rush to the polls in 2020.

Unfortunately greed has taken over and too many politicians are corrupt. Many are more concerned with their deep pockets and getting rich at the expense of decency.  Thy will trade our country, our decency,  our safety and any last hope of morality for the almighty buck.

2020 is a visionary term and seeing diagnosis. If someone doesn’t see well, an optometrist will begin to correct their vision with lenses. The ultimate goal is to have 20/20 vision. 20/20 is not perfect vision it is the standard by which we gauge. We are not striving to say anyone is perfect,  in order to see images and objects clearly in sharp view we adjust for 20/20. Not perfect but sharp and clear. It is the ability to discern.

I am excited to see so many people waking up to the corruption and the despicable conditions of our country. I am so grateful for President Trump who isn’t perfect, but has a sharp eye and could see and discern clearly we were headed to abominations, pun intended. As we watch more and more come to view I believe we are seeing the evil come into clear focus. I wonder if President Trump even knew how vile the swamp was?

I feel a shift and we are headed in the right direction. It was as if heaven was watching the party from above and I was seeing it from below.

We have a president who is a patriot. He has stepped up to the responsibility of leading our Nation. Our Nation stands with Israel. It is blatantly obvious that President Trump is backed by God Himself. This is evident. We must know it is our time to act, and act quickly.

We have been given marching orders to march as a mighty army, as the army of the Lord, His bride, His church, His troops, stampeding to the polls for President Trump in 20/20.

“I hear the Spirit of The Lord saying, fight for her dignity. Rush to her side. I have called this Nation and this land to be a herald for My gospel. Fight like all of heaven is backing you, because as I taught My disciples to pray, as it is in heaven  so shall it be on earth”

When the woman caught in adultery was thrown on the ground at Jesus feet He restored her and told her, neither do I condemn you go and sin no more. As we have been caught in adultery with the things of the world, America has been thrown down in many ways like this woman. The Lord spoke to me in January 2016 saying,  “I AM The God of your borders. Then in a dream shortly thereafter, twice I heard His voice say, “I dwell in the USA.”  America may look thrown down but it is a set up for her comeback.

We have a responsibility and a commission, just like the disciples and the prophets of old, ours is in the heavenly.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12)

Then The Lord replied: “Write the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. “Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” The enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright-but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness- (Habakkuk 2:3-4 NIV)

God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you Shalom. Amen

Until next time, thank you for listening with me. Laurette
